Otherwise, it does come right out of the box with a really high quality single, sustain pedal, and you can use this just on a folding stand because at 37 pounds you do not need a giant piece of furniture to keep this thing

 That will also be released pretty much at the same time, and all we're going to do is compare back and forth between the line signal and the speaker signal. So you can really truly get an appreciation for how good they have balanced these speakers. To give a true representation of exactly what the tone generator is doing, so look out for that and once again thanks for watching, we hope that you have enjoyed this new review of the es920.  We'Ve got the 4-band eq, which allows some very, very quick editing and it's remarkable how much you can really craft a piano tone with just a 4-band eq. Well, even a 3-band eq, but the four band eq. You know really rightfully splits that lower mid and upper mid, which have two very, very different characters to lower mid tone and an upper mid tone which are again completely distinct from that high-end treble tone and that sort of rumbly uh lower tone. I'M just gon na show you just how different it is and why it's so critical to have, i think at least this four band, if we're talking about onboard eqs and really changing the character of the tone

 That'S pretty much it on action um. I will say that in terms of how this compares to some of the other actions out there um from a price point standpoint, uh kawhi puts this in instruments which kind of straddles like roland's, pha, 4 and the pha 50, and also kind of straddles where yamaha Has their older ghs the updated action that goes in the higher level wide eps and then their their new awa action, their wood action and which would be like in the yamaha p515. This to me sort of sits uh. It feels as solid as the roland pha

Kawai ES8 - $300 cheaper than the upgraded but relatively similar ES920 and good build quality.

 But I'm certain that there can be no others that are better than this one, in this price bracket.

 Far exceeds any expectations I had. Because I have never owned a digital piano, I do not have any experiences to compare this piano to any others. But I'm certain that there can be no others that are better than this one, in this price bracket.

Very happy with my purchase.

 Let's listen to a couple of the sounds. This is the Sk Console ground default sampled piano from Kawaii's flagship Grand Piano [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yes, this is. I find the sound very alive. It is powerfully even across the registers, and I find it uh, suitable for classical music and solo piano work

 [Music] Nice reverb. However, I find the church organ sound inferior to what Yamaha makes. I've had the Yamaha P515, and in comparison, the I like the action on this one better because it's less fatiguing and it's more responsive. Yeah, there are a couple of vibraphone and strings, but no synth, no brass, no acoustic instruments, no guitars

 So again, this plastic line here just below the keyboard is the most crucial one for the buzzing to occur or not because it's a little bit flexy, which is my biggest gripe when it comes to build quality. Otherwise, I'm grateful for the weight. Is this for you? Are you a gigging pianist? Piano is most important for you. You don't use a lot of synths, You don't use a lot of organs

 [Music] So there are in total about 38 sounds. I didn't demo them all, but maybe in a future video I will. To sum it up, is this keyboard for you? Who is this instrument for it's got a great action for what it is, in my opinion, allows you to play whatever technical stuff necessary. It has really good piano sounds and decent other sounds

Kawai ES920 - 2 Year In Depth Review

 it's just hollow plastic and so I feel like the the the not the fit and finish that plays fine but just the what's the word I'm looking for. the way it's put together the assembly, the build quality I guess is this the best word to use isn't as high as I would have expected or would have liked to see from Kawhi from an instrument of this tier because this is definitely in a professional league of instruments you can, There's not. I haven't found any music that this instrument is really unable to play. It can handle most anything you throw at it

 Now when I play these chords, it actually does, uh, detect the proper chord that I'm playing. It's just that the accompaniment bits just are really complicated. Have a listen to them by [Music] themselves. [Music] by themselves

 For example, the old Es8 and the current Yamaha P515. I actually happen to own both of those as well as this Es920. so I'm actually going to be doing full reviews and comparisons of those two. Comparison between the Es 920 and its previous model, the Es8 and the Es920 versus its current competition well, some of its current competition, the Yamaha P515

 Uh, it's not horrible, it's just not as high quality as I expected from Kauai, who usually makes state-of-the-art flagship digital pianos, for example, the Mp11 Se. Yes, it's more expensive than this, but just for just the sake of discussion, the Mp11se almost has the feeling that Kawhi put as much craftsmanship and effort into building it as they do their real acoustic pianos. It has that durable, tanky feel and this doesn't have that. However, it is acceptable

Kawai's New ES920 (In Depth Review)

 Oh, the recording technology in this one is uh is robust. I feel like they added that here at the 920 price point. So with that you have the usb drive here um and you can be recording directly into a usb or you can have it plugged into your computer. But what's neat is on uh on the 520? It'S it's just a standard midi file, um which you'll see abbreviated as smf, and that's the only way to record audio on that or not not record audio but record midi on that

 If you're an adult and just move it really very easily - and it's just got some nice feel too, so i really like kind of some of the the laid out buttons it's all accessible in front of you um. What manufacturers have been doing in the last couple years and what i've noticed has kind of gone back to the old way is they're keeping the buttons out there for you, instead of scrolling through menus and and trying to figure out how to change, voicing and change Parameters and all that stuff - it's all laid out here in front of you, where you can turn off the effects, turn on the amp turn on the reverb you can adjust on the es920, where there is. This is not a feature on the es520. Is the four-band eq so here we're going to check that out here in a little bit, but using those features not only for voicing, but for some of the organ features as well

 It will recognize the midi instrument, as a controller also has two headphones input, which is nice. You can, if you're, playing quietly and want to show somebody two headphones can be plugged in at the same time. Also has a lot of line in there has line and light out um stereo line out, which is nice. If you need this for performance, if you need this for as a monitor and performance, it has some really cool stuff like midi in and out

 The bat i really appreciate so, if you're a gigging musician, if you're someone who needs to take this on the go, maybe take it to church, maybe take it to the choir room. Whatever your purpose is for having a digital instrument like this, it's very portable comes in at 38, pounds a little bit heavier than the es110 and the es520, but kind of really lightweight where you can pick it up by yourself. Yamaha ARIUS YDP-181 Electronic Piano with Bench Review | Yamaha Electric Piano

I did quite a lot of research on digital pianos and I found this YDP181 my best option. Key things you want to consider when selecting a digital piano:

- Key sensitivity: this has "Graded Hammer" which is better than "Graded Hammer Standard" that you may find in other Yamahas.

In a nutshell, if you are after a digital piano, this is the best I found that still "feels like a grand", but costs as a digital. In terms of sound quality is excellent; sound level is good (not a grand, of course!).

Very good quality. The sound is very realistic. The two speakers located at the sides of the piano resemble how a grand sounds: bass on the left, treble on the right.

 I was very happy turning it on for the first time. The weighted-keys and sound are authentic and provide a great experience for the performer and the audience. I haven't used the foot petals much, but they seem to function well.

I was very happy turning it on for the first time. The weighted-keys and sound are authentic and provide a great experience for the performer and the audience

First piano

 The action is close enough to a real piano as to make the transition very easy. One can also half pedal on it, which is a real plus. One needn't pretend that it can approach the real thing in terms of sound; that would be ridiculous. But I've found the sound to be perfectly acceptable
