Review: Roland FP-10 Digital Piano - PianoBuyer
The last few years have seen digital-piano makers strongly focusing on lower-cost keyboards whose sounds and features belie their low prices. At the fore of this trend have been Casio, Roland, and Yamaha, closely followed by Kawai and Korg, with some lesser-known brands such as Alesis and Williams (...

This is my dream come true (a top-line keybed for lowest price possible). The oboard sounds are pretty ass, but I dont use on-board sounds, dont sequence on the keyboard, dont need a built in audio/midi-usb device, dont need "bluetooth" connections, dont need onboard speakers, etc. Just give me the nice 88-key keybed with a midi out, and I am golden.

Roland FP-10 Review - An Affordable and Portable Entry-Level Piano
For its greater portability alone, I would choose the Roland FP-10 over the Korg B1 (which was my original choice for best overall weighted keyboard). Conclusion - Roland FP-10 ReviewAfter examining the features and price of the Roland FP-10 digital piano, I think that it is the best weighted digital piano available at its price point right now. Packed with features, the FP-10 is the best entry-level digital piano on the market

How good are these synthesizers to use as a piano, want to buy one of these once for all
I recommend the Roland fp-10. Has 88 weighted keys and a lot of realistic sound settings as well as a metronome setting. Very great for beginner or intermediate classical pianists. It’s also fairly cheap.

Is Roland GO:PIANO a good start for beginners like me ?
Personally, I would say unless you need the portability of the GO:PIANO, to save up a little more and go for one of the tried and true beginner pianos. The Roland FP-10 and Yamaha p45 are very well known and are great places to start for around $500.

Nice basic digital piano
This digital piano has passed my expectations so far. It is light and small enough for the user to pick up and store in the closet after practice, which in my case is a big plus. The key covering is really nice to the touch, much better than the plastic coverings on other keyboards and even on conce...

Something new for someone old
This piano is a dream come true. 15 years ago I moved into a senior living development and had to leave my beautiful full-pedal Allen organ because it was too big to fit into the house.
