Kanto YU4 vs Audioengine A5+

I would recommend these Kanto speakers for people looking for quality above the typical desktop computer speakers. I would get the YU6's and purchase the subwoofer.

its really about the space you have them in and how that bottles up or frees the sound.

I’ve been wanting to upgrade because I have no need for a USB turntable and I want a more minimalist design. I listen to all music types, but mostly Rock, Pop, Country, EDM. I’ve been starting to research some upgrades from the AT-LP120 turntable into the Planar 3, Marantz, and Clearaudio turntables.

These have a fairly modern bluetooth implementation, including aptx, which is necessary for decent wireless sound. It was between these and the peachtree m24, but the m24 does not have aptx. They pair very easily, have easy to use controls. Construction/build-quality seems perfect

These sound great for their size, not a ton of bass but you can add a sub (which I'm not) and they sound great for TV and Movies...dialog is very clear compared to the low end soundbar I had

If you've got a house or large room (and plenty of desk/shelf space) that needs a bigger speaker to fill it, the A5 will do what you need.

This product is packed with features; however, when it comes to the sound these put out I would describe them as lifeless. The bass is not tight and has a loose feel while the mids and highs are no better than a portable Bluetooth speaker. I mainly bought these for an apartment figuring with the 4" speakers these would be better suited for low to mid volume levels with decent sound quality. Ill keep them because of the features and they look great, but as soon as I get a bigger room space out of an apartment these will be nothing more than decorations

Dual svs sb1000 pros with Audioengine a5+ speakers. subs are hooked up for stereo bass. let me know your thoughts.
