 and again, the price is cheaper so might as well go for that. Unless you really care about the detachable speakers, then maybe you go for this or something else if you care about mid-range and having that equality of all sounds. But that's just my opinion. And if you guys have any questions about the JBL speaker, go ahead, leave them in the comments below or any other specific questions that you can't find

 Snaps right in and it starts charging up again, so then you'll be able to use it at a later time if you look at the actual piece. I mean there's nothing really too special about it. You got the if you're mounting it on the wall, you get the little piece right here and it also comes with a bracket and then I mean it's just a normal. This is a part that connects back to the main sound bar and that's pretty much it just snaps right back in

 same size, another 10 inch but just more powerful and again just no detachable speaker or the sound bar. And yeah, I think that's the better move. Save you some money. It's a 20-19 edition

 That's kind of pointless I Want everything to be Wireless that's why I got a wireless sub connectivity for it. So I think I'll link the one I'm talking about. It's a 5.1 channel surround sound for Jvo as well

JBL 5.1 Soundbar | Review

There are connections across the back panel of the soundbar for HDMI (video in for 4K resolution pass-through), HDMI ARC (TV), optical, USB (for both service and audio playback), and the included power cable. The subwoofer has a power/pairing button on its rear panel, just above the connection for the included power cable. There's an HDMI cable included, but no optical cable.

The remote control runs on two AAA batteries (included), and has buttons for Power, TV (HDMI ARC), Bluetooth, Bass Level, HDMI (This is the video input for 4k resolution pass-through), Volume Up/Down, and Mute. Unlike many of the soundbars we test, there's no selection of audio modes here, like Movie or Music, which is not necessarily a drawback, but it would be nice to have more robust, precise EQ controls rather than a simple bass level range of Low, Mid, or High to choose from. There's no way to adjust treble, for instance. The volume range is 1-31, and at max levels, the system gets quite loud

 For the price, this is a solid system, but those seeking true surround or serious power may want to explore other options.&nbsp;&nbsp;

JBL Bar 5.1 Surround Review

For my budget I've identified the three bars (Sony HT-G700, Sonos Beam, or JBL 5.1 Surround) that get a fairly even mix of great or terrible reviews. I can get the Sony for AUD$480, the JBL for $497 and the Sonos for $545. My lounge room is a big cube with a tall sloping ceiling from 3 metres to 4

which sucks because the remote-sensor is REALLY weak (brand new batteries) - you have to be pointing to a very specific spot on the bar and from a very limited beam-angle. As to its Google/Alexa integration: while I can Chromecast to it, it doesn't actually seem to have voice-control (at least, not in anything resembling the way my JBL 500-Links do).

 If/when I get my power-amp repaired, I'm likely left with the option of using either my prior speakers or this system since the A/V head will only send sound through the active HDMI channels *or* the analog audio-outs (I'll have to see if I can re-integrate so I can use its optical channel). Also, when using ARC to power the device on, there's about a 70% chance that it gets confused and thinks your TV, rather than your streaming-source (in my case a Roku) are providing signal input ..

If you don't have a lot of space for your setup, a standalone bar like the Sonos Arc is a good option since it doesn't come with a subwoofer that takes up more room. It's a really premium bar with a wide and immersive soundstage that makes it seem like your favorite movies are happening all around you, and it's a great choice for everything from TV shows to Dolby Atmos movies found on lots of streaming services. The bar's sound profile is slightly bright, with balanced mids that ensure dialogue is clear and present, and higher-pitched voices sparkle in the mix. You can use its bass and treble adjustments to get a more neutral sound.

Naturally, without a dedicated subwoofer, the bar really struggles to reproduce the deep thump and rumble in the low-bass found during action-packed movies. If you change your mind down the line, you can always add a subwoofer and satellites that you can buy separately. Or, if you have the space, you can look at the larger, heavier Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar with an integrated subwoofer.

The best soundbar without a subwoofer that we've tested is the Sonos Arc. This soundbar has a very premium design, and it offers a really impressive Dolby Atmos performance compared to other standalone bars we've tested. Even without satellites, the bar creates a wide and immersive-sounding soundstage that makes it seem like the action in your favorite movies and TV shows is taking place all around you.

Like most premium options on the market, this bar comes with a room correction feature that automatically optimizes audio based on your room's unique acoustics, which Sonos calls TruePlay. With this feature on, it has a fairly neutral sound profile that reproduces clear and accurate vocals and lead instruments, with a touch of extra brightness in the treble that makes your audio sparkle. It also has built-in support for voice assistants, meaning you can control it with your voice from the comfort of your couch.

Unfortunately, compared to other premium bars, there's a lack of sound enhancement features like an EQ for sound customization. Also, it doesn't have as many wireless playback options as other setups we've tested, and there's no Bluetooth support. That said, it offers Wi-Fi connectivity, so you can still stream audio from your phone to the bar over this connection.

 So once you've set up the arc, which is surprisingly easy to do, you do need to download the sonos app and add it to that. But it walks you through the whole process, and it is very, very simple now, once this is set up and plugged into your tvs, hdmi e-arc port, you can start adding other sonos speakers like the sonos sub, and you can also get some of their smaller one. Sls to go around the room and work as sort of rear speakers now, ultimately i have nowhere near enough money to do that just yet, but hopefully i will be able to share that experience with you as i slowly grow that ecosystem now, one of the benefits Of this is that it's an entirely wireless surround sound experience, so you can just have all these speakers plugged in in different corners of the room and it's all going to come together without the need of wiring in audio cables. It'S so easy and so easy and you can control it all through the sonos app, but we're not here to talk about all of the other speakers we're here to talk about the ark, the 800 pound or 800 arc

 It is really good and i'm surprised that, even without a subwoofer, this is still creating a really good rumble. Now, for a lot of people, virtual surround sound, isn't enough, and i get that and one of the great things about the sonos ecosystem is that you can actually expand it with different speakers.  It'S a dolby, atmos soundbar. That means it's not just sound, coming straight out of the sound bar this speaker's coming at you, but the speakers also aimed around the room and even up at the ceiling, and what this does it gives you an almost fake, surround sound experience by bouncing the sound Around the room, and if you want to learn a little bit more about that, i have done a video which explains things like audio channel numbers and dolby atmos, so feel free to go and watch that one after this this is dolby cinema. Have you felt it so yeah? I am massively impressed with the sound quality of this thing. First of all, all the way from high tones all the way down to the base

1 surround sound system, but you then have the flexibility of being able to add the surround sound and the extra speakers behind you and because it's dolby atmos supported you Also have the up firing speakers and, let's be honest, most people aren't going to be fitting in speakers into their own ceiling. So is this going to replace your 5.1 surround sound system? No, but this is the best starting point for what i think is going to be one of the best surround sound systems.
