 Now you can see we got the roomba on the carpet and you can see how it's able to move around and navigate again. It's going to go back and forth in a logical cleaning pattern and you can see the nice lines it's leaving on the carpet right there. Check that out! looks great, giving us great cleaning lines and you can see as it's going back. It covers roughly about half of its previous pass right there so you can see it's able to move freely maybe a little bit slower than a hard surface, but it's doing a great job giving us a nice clean on our carpet

 nice grip for the Robovac to drive up on this and get in place and then you can see where it's going to suck out the contents of the dustbin automatically for us. Let's look at it from the back side. you can see we have some built-in cable management right here. That's where we're going to plug in the power cord

 So now you can see we have the vacuum heading towards the stairs and there we go. The cliff sensors kicked in and it prevented it from falling down the steps. Now you can see we got the roomba on the carpet and you can see how it's able to move around and navigate again. The Best Value Roomba // iRobot Roomba i6+ Review

 So I decided to give this I6 Plus a shot. Now the difference between the I6 Plus, I7 Plus and I8 Plus is really not a lot. The I6 Plus is an Amazon Special edition, the I7 Plus is just a regular standard edition, and the I8 Plus is the one that Costco sells. Now the I7 Plus has a few extra goodies like I think they have an extra vacuum bag and maybe a filter and the Costco version it might have you know, 20 extra battery life, but honestly, the the difference is really negligible

 Um, so if I were you I would just go for the cheapest option. I managed to find this unit uh on Amazon for uh, 549 dollars. So it was on, uh, sale. I have a link in the description below in case you want to take a look at what the price is

 I enjoy being home and no longer have those nagging feelings of dread about things I need to be cleaning. I also very much enjoy the kitty cats and Chris and I have raging allergies so I need something to clean up the hair. My feelings so far on the two: Quality of the clean: Roomba and Roborock seem to clean the same. I was very pleased with both

 A few seconds and I'm done. The filter is also washable, so it lasts a long time. The Roomba has the base that sucks the dirt out of the machine and into a disposable bag. 1

 I'm not sure how I feel about it. But having to not have to remember to empty the little bastard is convenient since I have it running 3 days per week. Sounds: Both are god dang vacuums. They sound like vacuums

 I bought our Roborock on sale for $179 last year and have been very pleased with it. My heart was originally set on the more pricey Roomba self-emptying units, but since I am frugal and wanted to see if it would even work here, I went with the lesser expensive bot. We have a house full of old furniture and rooms so I didn't know if a robot would even jive here. I have been VERY pleased with our Roborock

Buy a robot vacuum already!

 Again, it's not meant for deep cleaning. It's design it to help maintain and for that I think it's well worth the price. Make sure you lay in a supply of filters and maintenance items for it as well, in order to keep it working well. And, maybe, check it's bin and filter more often than every month and a half

 I was sort of running it weekly without really paying attention but expecting to get a filter notice or something but it actually came in the form of the bin clogged. The video's show how to check the bin for a clogged tube, which I did and found nothing. It was only then I decided maybe it was the Roomba bin; which it was. I emptied and cleaned the bin (in the chute and the Roomba) as well as replaced the HEPA filter and Roomba is back making it's [almost] daily round as I type

 Make sure you lay in a supply of filters and maintenance items for it as well, in order to keep it working well. And, maybe, check it's bin and filter more often than every month and a half.

After almost two months now, I'm quite pleased.

 I was expecting a little bit better from Roomba who's bread and butter is the robot vacuum. There are a few other brands that have vacuums that are so much quieter and after hearing those, I regret choosing this one almost entirely based on that.  The battery: This stupid thing runs out of battery in 30-45 minutes, has to recharge for an hour, comes back out for a bit, and then recharges.

 Roborock recommends cleaning this every two weeks, so that's something I'll look to do more often. The sensors need to be wiped clean after approximately 30 hours use or monthly, and the app will prompt you to do that. So far, I've had to do that twice. The dustbin filter needs to be cleaned every two weeks as well

 The mopping function is pretty good for what it does. It'll take away fresh stains off my tiles and even some dried on stains. It doesn't replace a traditional manual mop, but I don't think it's designed to do so either. The app is really intuitive to use and has plenty of functionality for power users, and the robot itself has been very low maintenance for me

 So with all that said, what do I think about the Robo Rock S7? Well, it's fantastic As an everyday vacuum, the ability to set a schedule and have the robot automatically clean your floors is incredible. Our floors here have never looked so consistently clean. It won't completely replace a conventional vacuum as it can't get to tight areas of your home and it can't get over higher bumps. but I think those downsides are inherent to any robot vacuum you might use

We’ve had the Roborock S7 for 7 weeks on our main floor which is all hardwood and a few area rugs. I’m currently trial running several auto-empty vacs for our upstairs which has our 4 bedrooms and all carpet. Currently a few weeks into the Roomba S9+ with empty bin and let me just say… while it does a good job picking up on our low rise carpet, the app and technology feels about 5 years behind the Roborock tech and app. If anyone cares about specifics feel free to ask but I’m constantly surprised how poor the app and tech work

 But no, it did get some hair clogged when I tried to empty it in that test, but it did just fine after that big test and was able to consistently clean normal amounts of hair. Basically, if you have pets that shed, you will probably need to run it at least once or twice a week in order to make sure it empties the bin without clogs. maybe even more if you have a lot of big pets. But as I said, I've yet to find an auto empty robot vacuum that doesn't have this specific limitation

 and because I have two cats, a lot of cat hair can build up in two weeks. I was hoping that the S7 could auto empty even that much hair after that much time. I’m outta here - buying a Shark IQ Robot Vacuum with Self-Empty Base and Smart Mapping

I tried the roborock s7 and between it not being able to back of its own dock, being obsessed with ramming into its own dock, getting stuck anytime it hit anything, not picking my anything off the carpet, it had air vents on the side (which I wasn’t used to coming from roomba) that sounds like a jet engine no matter what the speed setting was. I was already annoyed and the sound of a mini jet engine going through the house sent me over the edge in frustration! Am I to expect the same thing from the Deebot t8?
