iRobot Roomba 980 vs Roborock S7

I got my roomba refurbished and it seems to work like a dream while being much cheaper! I'm constantly finding the tank full after it has run through my downstairs even when I thought the floor was pretty clean! We have 2 cats so it is working well for their hair. My only real complaint is that it is very noisy. I had another brand bot vac which was awful at picking stuff up and constantly missed areas (roomba is doing great and both of these issues) but it was very quiet. My husband and I have to plan around his meetings for work because it is so loud on the ground floor that it could disturb his meeting on the second floor of his office door is open

I tried the roborock s7 and between it not being able to back of its own dock, being obsessed with ramming into its own dock, getting stuck anytime it hit anything, not picking my anything off the carpet, it had air vents on the side (which I wasn’t used to coming from roomba) that sounds like a jet engine no matter what the speed setting was. I was already annoyed and the sound of a mini jet engine going through the house sent me over the edge in frustration! Am I to expect the same thing from the Deebot t8?

I gave this 5 stars because its great value (the renewed price range and it was in great shape). The Roomba 980 has a record of use-history in the supporting app (hours used) so you can tell how much your renewed Roomba 980 was used before your purchase..

Theyre just better, for less money
