I bought this vacuum because of the price. I had a Neato before which was fantastic until the battery needed replacing every 5 to 6 months. This one does a great job of cleaning the areas it covers. That said, it moves around the house like a ping ball game

 Unfortunately, it only has a standard/\s/ filter inside and not a hepa. Please note that/\s/this filter isn't washable the dustbin itself. Also/\s/, isn't washable because part of the motor is inside/\s/it giving it a thorough clean won't be a problem/\s/ with its generous opening. One tool I use to keep/\s/it clean is a handheld with a brush attachment/\s/ the only entry level roomba with a hepa filter/\s/is the E5, so keep this in mind

Roomba 675 Review [The Best Budget Robot Vacuum on Carpet?]

 The batteries stopped holding a charge after 8 months or so. I replaced them and the second set lasted vaguely half as long. I replaced them again and that set lasted only a couple of months. Additionally, at some point the bin sensor failed (so it never detected that the bin was in place), so I bypassed it with some solder

Works in the woodshop/garage, but gets stuck a lot.  Update: failures are very poor

 Stabby now spends his days puttering around my appartment tormenting my cats and sucking up pet hair. After the first run I was quite surprised with how well it actually sucked things up. I was not expecting much from such a tiny little robot but Stabby has managed to suck up everything he's come in contact with. Sensors are quite intuitive on the robot, although I have found Stabby will get stuck if he gets into some place odd like under my dining table

 So iRobot did a pretty good job of engineering and designing something that can clean a couple different types of surfaces. I Love technology and I love that this has been something that has really helped us out with cleaning a house. I Love living in the future like we are now, but there's my thoughts on the iRobot 670 series. I Still recommend I Still think that's one of the best robot vacuums out there for the price

 So with that being said, let's go ahead and dive into the review. So if you're watching this video, I take it. You're probably in the market to buy a robot vacuum cleaner whether it be a Roomba or some other name-brand but maybe you're looking at the 670 series and that's how you stumbled across this video. I've been using this vacuum for six months and I still think it's one of the best out there, especially for the price

 Now if you're anything like me, whenever you vacuum with a regular vacuum, you kind of go in straight lines I like to see the powder in those straight lines and that way I know I pick up every inch of the floor whenever I get done vacuuming. One thing I wish that these robot vacuums it was that. but I know they can't They're round and they just kind of go in their own motion zigzagging, crossing, not really in straight lines. Maybe 25 years in the future they might do that, but as of right now, they don't

 This one won't have to do it in 30 minutes and then it goes around in different motions and different angles and different patterns. The battery life on these things do lasts quite a bit, so even though it's been a month later, we have some big rooms and the battery life has been able to last to do the entire room until a job is complete. I Like that whenever it is getting low on batteries that it doesn't just stop in the middle of a floor, it'll actually go back to its home base to charge up that way whenever you're ready to reuse it again, it's got a full battery. There have been times that we go ahead and schedule the cleaning as we are walking out the door, so that way it could clean while we're not home

 If you have a budget, this is a one two by within that $200 price range. Hopefully this video helped you out if you were trying to decide whether you wanted to get this one or not. The S5 Max is one among loads of great robots that can both vacuum and (kind of) mop, but Roborock has a better reputation than other combo-bot brands. If you’re looking into getting a robot vacuum anyway, and your mopping needs are modest, the S5 Max could be a good choice.

The Roborock S5 Max is a great choice if you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum at a mid-range price. While you're missing out on the Roborock S7 MaxV's real-time hazard identification system and self-emptying capability, this relatively affordable vacuum offers good value for money. It has a LIDAR mapping system that maps out rooms quickly compared to most optical sensor-based systems, especially in dimly-lit rooms. Its companion app is very easy to use and lets you set up virtual boundary lines that it won't cross or direct it to clean a specific room in your home. It delivers exceptional performance on bare surfaces like hardwood or tile floors and is remarkably effective when dealing with pet hair, though it struggles a little on carpet.

Unfortunately, while it does have a mopping system, it's entirely passive and doesn't provide any level of surface agitation to scrub away stains, and therefore isn't all that effective. Don't need any sort of mopping system at all? The Wyze Robot Vacuum is worth a look. It features LIDAR navigation at a slightly lower purchase price than the Roborock, though it has a smaller dirt compartment and a shorter battery life.

If you don't mind giving up the yeedi vac station's self-emptying capability in exchange for a lower purchase price, the Roborock S5 Max is a great choice. This mid-range robot vacuum does an excellent job of handling pet hair on a wide variety of surface types. It also feels very well-built and has an E11-rated filter, helping to seal in fine allergens like pet dander. Its LIDAR mapping system enables it to map out the precise location of obstacles in your home, and you can use its intuitive companion app to schedule cleaning sessions for individual rooms.

While there is a mopping attachment intended to scrub away dried-on dirt or stains on bare surfaces like hardwood, tile, or laminate, it isn't very effective. Unlike the ultrasonic system found on the pricier Roborock S7 MaxV, it's an entirely passive system that doesn't actively scrub away at the surface. Conversely, if you don't need a mopping feature and simply want something that excels when dealing with pet hair, the Wyze Robot Vacuum is worth a look, but be aware that it has a much smaller dirt compartment and a shorter battery life.

 The older mops were basically small capacity tanks with a pad that just attached to the bottom of the robot. They functioned essentially using gravity where the water slowly seeped into the mopping pad at a fixed rate. The S 5 max is the first rubber Rock to include a separate detachable electric water tank, which can hold quite a bit more water than the previous model. This is combined with a very similar mopping pad attachment, but instead of it operating purely by gravity, it now has an electronically controlled water dispenser, which can be adjusted in the app we tested this with dried on coffee, grape and vegetable juice, stains and found that it Was quite a bit better than previous Robo rocks that we've tested it got the easier coffee stains in the first pass, though, the much tougher grape and vegetable juice stains took

 But now, let's get into some specific issues, because there are a lot of differences between the s5 Max and its new generation counterparts. First things: first, the s5 max did its main job of picking up debris off of hard floors and carpets extremely well in our tests. I'Ve always praised Robo rock robot vacuums for their clean pick up ability, meaning that their brushes work well together and just pick up various types and sizes of debris very cleanly without scattering debris, with its side brush or blowing it around with its exhaust. And it seemed to me that the s5 max was better than any I've seen to date with pure pickup ability

 Subscribers of this channel know how much I love this feature, and I found it to be pitch perfect in terms of accuracy with the S 5 max, like the other next-generation Robo rocks, the S 5 max has some app upgrades like the room select feature, which is Where, after it creates a map, you can divided and name the rooms in your house, so that you can tell it to clean certain rooms and not others, which means that you can really customize your scheduled cleanings, like you could say, on Mondays vacuum the kitchen and Living room only on max power at 8 a.m. or any number of variations, and that brings us to the main difference between the S 5 max and all the other Robo rocks the new mopping features. So, while the older s 5, as well as the s 6 and some others, have had mopping attachments, the S 5 max represents a totally new mopping design

 I'Ve always praised Robo rock robot vacuums for their clean pick up ability, meaning that their brushes work well together and just pick up various types and sizes of debris very cleanly without scattering debris, with its side brush or blowing it around with its exhaust. The short version;  This is a terrific vacuum. My floors have never been cleaner. I am very satisfied with my purchase and could confidently recommend it. I really feel bad for giving it only 3 stars, however, a few minor issues detract from making it the perfect product

All of them have a feature called recharge and resume where, if power runs low during a big cleaning, it will stop and go back to recharge and then continue where it left off. With dust bin size, the older s5 and the s6 have a smaller 480 milliliter dustbin, where all the others have fairly large 640 milliliter bins

 There aren't many robot vacuums on the market that can compare with the older s5. In terms of navigation, in other words, with the new generation, Robo rock just made something that was already really good about 20 % better in terms of cleaning ability. The Robo rock family is surprisingly similar across the board. They all have the same basic construction underneath but they're all well above average, at picking up debris off of the surface of hard floors and carpets
