Inov-8 Terraultra G 270 vs La Sportiva Bushido II

Also Amazon just delivered the Inov-8 Terraultra G270 and that will be going back since, again, way too narrow. My normal shoes size is 9 4E, so the size 10 LP5 was a bit too long for me.

I’m on my fourth or fifth pair. I find they tend to run a bit small, so find a local shop that sells them if you can.

I have the chance to get a good deal on a pair of black Inov-8 Terraultra G 270 (now re-branded as Trailfly) and like the fit. If you have suggestions for other shoes, I would be happy to hear about them!. The impossible task of finding a shoe for everything.

La Sportiva Bushido II is amazing. Insanely grippy, I keep good traction on rocks and roots even in wet weather. Can’t recommend them enough.

I already own the Bushido II which hugs my narrow foot perfectly, but just falls short on cushioning on long days and I end up with hot spots and blisters on the balls of my feet. I'm looking for another shoe with a similar low-volume fit and more underfoot protection. I'm not looking for spongy/cloud-like cushioning, or a bulky shoe that would be cumbersome on technical terrain - just overall comfort from sharp rocks and steep downhills that beat up your feet.
