I'm shopping around for a sit-stand desk and am pretty overwhelmed with the options.  I'm leaning toward the iMovR Lander and am considering the built-in SteadyType keyboard tray, but I'm very hesitant to buy it sight-unseen since it's kind of a big problem to be stuck with if I don't actually like it.  In particular, I'm worried about the sitting ergonomics (I'm pretty confident it's the best option for standing or walking, but I anticipate spending at least half of my time sitting).

I just started a new job and they're planning on hybrid in-person/remote coming in September.  They're open to setting me up with a walking desk since I've got a medical condition that requires it, along with a doctor that'll note the same thing for ADA accommodation purposes. 

If you had a budget of around $3k before taxes, and you were 6'2", what'd you recommend for a walking desk setup?  Electric is preferable but I can live with pneumatic.  I'll be standing 3-6 hours per day at it, and doing a lot of typing, so an integrated keyboard tray would be great.  As long as I can walk and type without making things worse.  

 I was looking for a custom setup for my room, which is like 160 by 180 inches, and I didn't know if I wanted to keep a corner desk or wanted to go with a completely linear desk from one wall to the other. I got to figure something else out, but I can say there is a consensus budget pick and that's for sure that IKEA stuff and so a lot of people would just get an IKEA countertop and to Alex drawers and be set for life

 This Lander desk can carry up to 360 pounds, which is significant capacity and given I was trying to think about having more than two monitors and then maybe even my speakers versus using speaker stands having my camera equipment gimbals and all that set up. I didn't want to have to think twice about that and the sturdiness of this Lander it really does hold up, could even aesthetics. I mean it had like a Ganga colors to choose from I'm very happy with the finish that this one has so from a capacity point of view. It gets high marks

Best Standing Desk Converter of 2022 - GearLab

Bought this sleek desk because of the look and functionality.   The onboard USB port is convenient to charging while working.  I am not sure the price is worth it- it seems a little pricey. We’ll see!

Worth the price?

Took some time to assemble since screws wouldn’t fit proper. Once I got it done it worked for 5 mins but then started moving up and down on its own. Eventually got an error that the mototr had heated up and I should leave it for 20 mins! I unplugged and replugged and it kept doing the same. Finally gave up and returned it!

look great but does not work!

I have worked from home temporarily before, but now it will be my permanent work location. I bought this desk because of its features and appearance, and I could not be happier. The glitch is not "a glitch" per se. The solution is included on the instructions
