 Overall, i have them sitting on a chris king, t47 bottom bracket, which is also super nice and clean. It gives it a nice compact stiff setup. For me, i wanted a really strong bottom bracket because i'm a pretty heavy guy - and so i wanted to have the ride - be really stable and strong and not have to worry about swapping bottom brackets at all or cranks. Because i mean these, things will be on here forever, so i don't have to worry about anything

 This is a new envy, gravel specific style fork. It has a little bit of mounts on it where you can mount racks to it and everything, but for the most part it doesn't really have much to fit water bottle mounts so you'll have to find another spot for that the frame is super nice. It'S a very lightweight stiff. You can feel this responsiveness when you're going up on climbs and when you're in the downhills man it just wants to go

 A group ride. You know with road riders, so i'm really psyched on the bike. I love how i set it up. It'S really really clean and it's super super solid

 You know so um. For me. I wanted the latest and greatest and i feel like the shimano gi. Di2 grx system was that for the gravel specifics line of gear - and so i went with that - and i personally went with the one by because for me i like a really clean setup and a really clean bike, and this is the the range that i need

I think the harshness of the ride can be partially attributed to the stiffness of the frame, but also the relative narrowness of the tires than what i'm used to light and fast and climbs well. But for me not the most supple ride quality granted the frame is supposed to clear, wider 650b wheels and tires, and if this were my personal bike, that is how i would run it. It would take off the edge from the generally harsh ride

 This is where the bike really excelled, uh, partially because of its light weight, but i feel like that the frame is really stiff. Each pedal stroke really seemed to give back as much as you put into it. It'S a nice spicy jumpy climber, especially out of the saddle going downhill. That'S where things for me become a little bit of a mixed bag

 The rear cassette is a Sun race at 11:34 and the front chainrings is where things are actually pretty interesting, but in a good way. Expect that with a FSA crank set which has a chain ring combo of 46 30 and I Totally love that Salsa spec this bike out with this chain ring combination I feel too often gravel bikes or bike touring bikes get spec with compact Road doubles which makes no sense, especially if you're fully loaded, especially if you're off terrain and you're kind of like an average or beginning writer. So this crank set makes sense for this bike and for the potential user. So I applaud them for that for not just sticking on another compact

 There's nothing too squirrely or overly unpredictable about the bike. I Like the front and handling, it reminds me of the Warbird. Pretty predictable on the sands. Comfortable and not twitchy

 The bike weighs in on our scales in the mid 20s about 25 maybe 26 ish with the pedals, so not lightweight. Definitely heavier than the Warbird or even the Surly Midnight Special. Kind of on par with a Salsa Via or other steel bike build and it has all the brace on and the nubbins you can ask for.
