Very comparable to the g pro superlight

Only buy this mouse if you have medium to large hands. If you do, it's very comfortable to hold and supports any grip style in my usage. The first week of owning it might feel like its stretching your hand muscle every so slightly, but your muscles will find a comfortable position after a week or so. Comparing it to the G pro Wireless, this is a very good mouse and I don't think (in usage) the G pro wireless is any better

I am going to preface this with the fact that I am a palm grip mostly. I've seen criticism over the large "hump" of this mouse and that may factor in if you have smaller hands. I do not. This is a great mouse and super-comfy to use. I use it for a combination of recreational gaming and for business use for my small business. I love the fact that I can charge it on my dual Qi charging pad that I keep on my desk, I put it next to my phone when I get done for the night and it tops up for the next day. I have the hyper-x Alloy origins keyboard as well, and I like that I can use one app to set up both of these peripherals

For context, I'm coming from a Redragon Cobra M711 and I didn't want to spend the extra $10 on a Glorious Model O. And to be honest, I'm absolutely glad I went for this mouse. Pros: - This mouse is SUPER light. it's as light as a Finalmouse while being significantly cheaper

Dpi Settings

Solid mouse in general (not just for the price)

The mouse has been good for my claw grip for the few weeks I’ve had it. The onboard dpi button makes it easy since you just have to remember the 4 stages which you can change in the software and their corresponding color which changes on the scroll wheel. It’s slightly lighter than the g pro super light but has a back that’s shorter so it feels considerably smaller. Uses USB-C and the battery life has been great

Light, Medium Sized, Well Functioning

Now, this is easily remedied if you know how to work the software (which to be fair is not as intuitive as it should be). Quick how to: set all 5 dpi settings to settings which you use, and make sure only one setting is checked per profile (the button on the mouse swaps profiles, not the individual settings).

Scroll Wheel

Okay; HyperX is a flexible company

This mouse is nice for handling; it’s comfy, sleek, and sturdy. However, the scrolling wheel was wonked out when I started using it. Totally out of calibration. I contacted the company though, HyperX, and they were able to replace the model

Try it first if you can

It's comfortable with a silicone and plastic mixed feel. Seems quite durable. - Clicks are pretty good, they have quite a low actuation distance with very little "tensiony" feeling (I dont know how else to describe this, but razer's deathadder elite has a lot of this tensiony feeling). - Scroll Wheel spins smoothly with some tactility and has some pretty nice RGB, although the scroll wheel is a bit high, I wouldve liked to see it more recessed

The official, stable release does not list the Surge as a supported model, but it IS in fact fully supported. The stable release is the software you want, because it functions exactly the way any RGB customization software should: It lets you save profiles to the firmware, can be minimized to the system tray, etc. Bearing all of that in mind, watch out for the Windows Store beta release of the software - This is the release you want to avoid like the plague. It does not save color profiles to the firmware correctly, and cannot be minimized to the tray, meaning that you will have to keep the window open in the taskbar to make your color profiles work
