I've owned various projectors for 20 years. The last 3 have been 4K USTs which are great to emulate a very large flat panel TV. The PX1-PRO has me blown away at the difference in color spectrum the tri-laser provides. I was very happy with my Dell 5K lumen PJ, but wanted to pick up my "holy grail" of PJs with 3 lasers

  Watching TV on this versus our 86" regular tv was a big change for the better. Our 86" LED tv might as well be a big mirror. You have to turn the lights off by the pool table or all you would see where the lights. Well not any more

It works great during the day and fits a 8' ceiling.

 And honestly, I've reviewed almost a dozen of these ultra-short throw projectors, and they've all had less than perfect lenses. As for image quality, it's a razor sharp looking projector. The colors look amazing, and the image does have impressive brightness with the lights off. Shadow detail and black levels, as far as I can remember, don't crush details and don't look all muddy like the Hisense L9 did when I saw it at the projector shootout
