This is a pretty nice little guitar for the money. I was looking for a new parlor to have around the house, take outside, toss into the car for trips--and that's exactly what the Jim Dandy is perfect for. If you're looking for a mind-blower, this probably won't do it. However, it plays good right out of the box, feels solid, and sounds like a good little parlor
