do NOT buy a guitar that has no strings on it... You want to be able to play and feel an instrument before purchasing.

You will not be able to swap the neck.

I’m close to a beginner myself, so this is my first time dispensing guitar advice. Not sure if Canadian guitars are available in the UK, but after copious research, I bought the Seagull S6 Deluxe Mahogany as my first instrument. At 550 USD, it was an exceptionally well made and great sounding guitar. The S6 series is actually made in Quebec and has a solid wood top.

I'm giving this 4 stars. The guitar is a 5+ star rating. The seller is a one star for not labeling it properly. The one I got is not an "S6", but an "S6 Slim". Reviewing the comments on this guitar is seems like some folks got a real S6 with a 1.8 inch nut, and others got a slim version with a 1.72 ...

I bought myself a seagull s6 or similar for 400 canadian and its so nice to play. Has a really warm tone too. Ive gone thru so many 150-200 dollar guitars and wish id just bought this from the start. Hope this helps

I previously owned a Seagull S6 cedar. It was the best I've ever owned. Easy to play, nice deep rich sound. This one, not so much, more harsh.
