This backpack by Osprey is very well made but keep in mind this is a laptop backpack. It’s not going to take a lot and I am quite disappointed with the size. It’s long but thin. Zipper doesn’t go all around because of the bottle pocket will not allow for this

There is no internal laptop compartment. The shove-it outside pocket can hold a 15in laptop in a neoprene sleeve. Easy to get to when going through security and if you have to check the bag because the plane is small, you can pull the laptop out and take that as a carry-on.

I'm looking at something around the 25L mark that is low key so that I won't stand out as a tourist, but also is comfortable enough to be wearing every day for months at a time.

I imagine the carabiner on the right shoulder strap could come in handy to secure it to a chair or stroller when out in public and not wearing it on my back.
