GoCoax MA2500C vs Netgear CM500

Connecting to them individually in their web GUI show they're all connected to each other between 3100-3400mbps or just over 3 gigabits. Latency across devices on different access points to the main router do not show any noticeable increases, maybe 0.5-1.5ms increase when using throughput software via wifi

From my understanding this Modem can support 300 Mbps down over cable lines per the manufacturer spec. I'd hate to buy a new modem and have no luck with it either.

Causes ARP storms due to some delay in their hardware. They are about 4-5 firmware versions from having a viable product. Went back to wi-fi backhaul as it is more reliable than these devices. Avoid these at all costs

we turned it on for the first time on May 31st, and it failed yesterday, July 9th. Netgear normally makes fantastic devices, our AC3200 Netgear Nighthawk router has served us well for four years. eventually we'll have to buy a new one but four years is a long time for a router and I attribute its longevity and ability to handle massive amounts of traffic for four years straight to its superior technology and build. I highly recommend the Nighthawk routers, they are great

g. 10GBase-T, 4Gbase-T, 2.5Gbase-T, or SFP+). But I would recommend them if you're a tinkerer or paranoid about someone hacking your MoCA network, because it has some great encryption options, and configurable operation at different frequency ranges, etc

Now that I work from home full time, I'm wondering if I should re-architect my home network to put my work devices on a separate VLAN from my personal stuff (probably makes me sound quite paranoid, but oh well). I know my router doesn't support that with the native firmware, so I would have to flash a different firmware if I want to stick with what I have.
