There are still reasons for pros and well-heeled shutterbugs to go for the X-T4. It includes weather protection, absent in the X-S10, records video at 10-bit quality internally, and offers nearly double the battery life, among other sundries. Although the XS10 doesn't have the weather sealing, you can rest assured knowing that it's OK to use in a snowstorm because some Asian dude on YouTube went outside at night time in the winter during a snowstorm to take some photos for fun. Fujifilm X-S10 Long Term Review! After 1 Year Of Use! Is It Worth It In 2022?!

 Today we're talking about the Fujifilm X-S10 or to put it this way, I'm gonna share with you my thoughts on this camera after using it nonstop for about three weeks. A few things to get out of the way. First, Fujifilm North America was kind enough to send to me at my request this test unit out to review. They also included the 18 to 55 millimeter zoom lens, which is what I used for most of my testing

 The size, the weight, because of the way the grip is, it's no problem whatsoever to have a lens like this. It looks a little weird with this big lens on this camera, but it gets the job done and it's not a problem at all. But for more casual shooting or for traveling, I would definitely prefer to use the 18-55 millimeter zoom lens, or I think ideally you'd wanna go with the 16-80 zoom, which would cover a variety of shooting situations. It's the perfect travel lens for the perfect travel camera

 Also, it handled every single lens that I was able to throw at it. For example, I took the 50-140 with me and it worked perfectly. The size, the weight, because of the way the grip is, it's no problem whatsoever to have a lens like this. The Fujifilm X-S10 is what I'd consider a good no-compromise starting point, and that's £995 over here in the UK with only one lens. Below that the micro four thirds options start to look like better value as hybrids, e.g. Olympus E-M5 and Panasonic G9, and I'm not sure that would give you what you want by way of an upgrade from your GX80

TLDR: I need your advice and recommendation.

I have a GX80 with a few lenses: Kit 12-32, G Vario 45-200, Samyang 12mm f2 manual, vintage Canon FD 70-210 w/adapter.

Problem is: the scroll wheel on the back of the camera became faulty recently, but I can still manage to shoot in aperture priority/speed priority modes without much of a hassle (and even in full manual with screen controls, but it's a tough workaround since the screen and viewfinder won't be on simultaneously). I asked some workshops for repair prices and they are over 80€ and 2-4 weeks. It's manageable, but inconvenient. And it offers an opportunity.

Since I'm very disappointed in the AF performance of the GX80 (and also that it doesn't really have a flat color profile in photo mode even with the Cine-D firmware hack) I was thinking maybe I should upgrade to a full frame or even an APS-C camera. Could you please recommend me some models?

My profile: I do photography for fun during our trips and family occasions. I gladly try artistic, portrait, architecture and even landscape photography. I very much enjoy post-processing (mainly just color-correction). And I intend to record more dynamic videos which was impossible with the slow AF of the GX80.

The ideal camera could be of any make. I was generally very satisfied with the Lumix system and I had some not so good experiences with Nikon. I definitely want a mirrorless. Budget is undefined yet, but let's say under 800€ with at least 1 good usable lens or max. 1000€ with 2+ lenses (wide angle for landscape and 50ish prime for portrait/architecture, eventually a tele too).

Repair or upgrade?

 The overheating limit has been extended before it was 10 minutes recording in a single 4k clip now we're up to a standard half hour clip. So, in order to test overheating, we put the camera in 4k 24p mode, while we were driving that kept the autofocus and image stabilization working and we were actually able to record in room temperature for 42 minutes and 55 seconds. Now there is a half hour record cut off on the camera, so we did have to start two separate clips before the camera overheated and shut down. Then we gave it 10 minutes and started again

 I think i get to do that once in a while, and i like that, it's got. You know some of my favorites, like classic neg, that the new processors have, i think, that's one of the nicest new profiles they've made. We'Ve got the usual standbys, i'm using velvia a lot today to add some punch, but certainly astia the software profile pro via their standard profile and all the others. You know turn off

 It shoots eight frames per second and actually push that to 30 frames per second in its electronic shutter sports mode, all with autofocus and on that topic, the autofocus is quite effective, very similar system to the xt4 you're, essentially getting their best af system. To date, the camera uses great tracking focus. I'Ve been using that most of today and it's been fantastic and the eye detect, does work well too so from sports journalism and some wildlife to portraits and family stuff. This camera can handle it all jordan here to talk about the video capabilities of the xs10 and it's based on the xt30, which was our best in class

 Now, up to 240 frames per second, although the quality on that is quite rough and one thing we love, if you kick this out through the hdmi port, you're gon na get a 10 bit 422 signal coming out of it. Now some of the problems that we had with the xt30 have also been addressed. It'S gone from a two and a half mil sub mini input to a normal 3.5 millimeter mini phone input as well
