The extended lip on this pan makes it easy to hold on to, and the pan’s straight sides made beautiful, perfectly square cake. However, we found the pan’s material to be problematic. When the pan was greased with butter and dusted with flour, cake released easily from it. But when the pan was greased with only butter, as called for in the recipe, brownies stuck stubbornly inside it, which made it very challenging to remove the food without damaging it. The stuck-on food left behind also made cleanup a pain.

 I would prefer to buy USA made, but this time USA's pans of the same type had a "Quilted" bottom base, which would not work well for Naked cakes. I baked a chocolate zucchini heavy cake in these pans. With parchment in the bottom and a lot of Pam on the sides, the cakes came out fine, but needed to be thumped on the outside of the pan. Next time I will use the parchment in the bottom with oiled and FLOURED sides, hoping to have them slide out a little easier

 It's aluminum so you should hand wash it so the dishwasher don't cause pitting of the metal. If you are baking cakes and such, I would recommend getting/using heating core rods for an evenly baked cake that will (usually) bake nice and flat without that taller center part.

Parrish Magic Line makes pans in every size (the diameter increases by 1-inch increments) between 3 inches and 16 inches, all at low prices.

Is NOT non stick! I went with these bc they were made in USA and had good ratings but was extremely disappointed as I had to line the pan on the bottom and sides with parchment and grease it! I tried greasing without parchment and still stuck every time! I finally ordered the Fat Daddio’s 4” anodized aluminum pans and one that was a sheet cake pan and they are perfect! Fat Daddio’s anodized aluminum does not stick! I still always grease my pans though as an extra measure. Save yourself the time and money as these Parrish pans are not worth it!
