This is a very bright projector that works perfectly in my mostly light controlled mini home theater. The LS11000 is replacing a Be Q HT3550 that, while it looked great and had decent black levels, was plagued with constant HDMI handshake issues, WCG filter getting jammed and other assorted fun. So far, no issues like this with the Epson and it looks sharper and much brighter. The whole projector is an absolute beast although the more than doubled weight actually seems to help it from jiggling when the kids are upstairs overhead apparently

 Now the side is the power and source selection button Flipping it over there are some adjustable feet So if you're gonna put this on a shelf You can adjust that as well right there and then we do have some mounting points on the bottom So if you want a ceiling mount that it is compatible with that But specs wise this is not a native 4k projector This is an upscaling projector once again. So no native for you guys not yet But at this price point it makes sense, but unlike Epson's previous projectors where it upscaled only to about 4 million pixels this one will actually Pixel map full 4k resolution at 8.2 9 million pixels So you will get true 4k resolution with this year's models Contrast ratio is 1 million two hundred thousand to one with dynamic contrast enhancement and There's also dynamic tone mapping as well on a scene-by-scene basis So that's gonna be pretty cool as well to check that out. This does support HDR 10 and HDR 10 plus So let's go ahead get this hooked up in the home theater and we'll come back to you some thoughts and impressions

 Once I bought the projector (and waited weeks for it to arrive), I started feeling like my Monoprice speaker setup was a little lean... I somehow got my wife to also agree to a sonic upgrade

Built my own Atmos theater to be better than my local AMC!

 The remote is small and hard to see in the dark, though it is back-lit once you press a button, i find the controls a little cumbersome to navigate but the menus are pretty straight forward. One of my favorite features is that it saves zoom and position settings so you can just select a preset and go back and forth between watching super widescreen movies and the more TV friendly 1.85 aspect ratio movies as well once you zero them all in. Thats a feature that was missing in the comparably priced Sony model that helped make my decision even easier
