The LS500's rated brightness is 4,000 lumens, which when paired with a 0.6 gain screen gives you the same the image brightness as a 2,400-lumen projector would using a 1.0 gain screen. But when you combine the improved contrast from the gray color with ALR technology (which keeps overhead lights or skylights from washing out the image), you wind up with a much better-looking picture than you'd get from a white screen and higher brightness

For Full HD 3D, which the projector supports with standard RF 3D glasses, I didn't see any crosstalk in my tests, and 3D-related motion artifacts were at the low end of what's typical for current projectors. All projectors' 3D modes are dimmer than their 2D modes, but&mdash;as is usual for Epsons&mdash;the difference or decrease in brightness was less for the LS500 than for most competitors, giving it an edge for 3D viewing in ambient light.

Call the service department, the automated attendant asks what product you are calling about, when you say projector it connects you to TV department, which does not handle projectors but still take many minutes on hold to get through to and then be transferred for several minutes. It's your AI get it to send me to the right department.  I expected better customer service, considering small claims court if they don't get us a replacement or a firm replacement date this week

 We're going to be taking different UST projectors and pitting them head to head against each

 It looks to me from this image that the Samsung is mapping better than the LG is.

 However, the LG, as I mentioned, is brighter.

 It's generally better to have a higher ceiling in terms of the brightness because you could

 always bring it down, as opposed to the other way around.

 The color reproduction on the Samsung looks closer to what you would see in real life,

 giving it the edge over the LG in this particular scene.

 The liquid motion looks really good on both of these units.

 However, I would say that overall, the Samsung LSP9T has some of the best motion handling
