I think this is just a/\s/ beautiful guitar in the hand and having owned a/\s/gibson Custom Shop vos 56 Les Paul, there's not/\s/ a lot of difference in it when it comes to feel/\s/now that might be debatable, but you're spending/\s/ like four or five thousand dollars more on the/\s/gibson Custom Shop as you would on one of these/\s/ epiphones and the Epiphone played itself. it's/\s/got a nice big fat 50s chunky neck that feels so/\s/ good to play the pickups in this guitar sing they/\s/got all the top end in the world

 Now This particular guitar has the/\s/ pro bucket pickups, which I think are some of the/\s/nicest sounding pickups that Epiphone have made/\s/ Interestingly enough, I went from playing my Gibson/\s/flying V over to the Epiphone in the session/\s/ that's probably playing on screen right here and/\s/i got to tell you the epiphone really held its own/\s/ and the burst bucket pickups in my Flying V sound/\s/fantastic So in terms of feel and tone and value/\s/ this definitely gets the big thumbs up. And/\s/i'm gonna put it as the first guitar on this/\s/ particular list. The second guitar on the list/\s/is the Epiphone Les Paul Special in Tv yellow/\s/ So if you don't know, I actually own a Gibson/\s/les Paul special in Tv yellow and after picking/\s/ up the epiphone and checking it out, it was so/\s/similar It's got the nice big fat chunky neck/\s/ and it's rocking two awesome sounding P90 pickups/\s/so if you're looking for something a little bit/\s/ different to your standard Les Paul, then this/\s/would be a great choice. It has a whole lot of/\s/ Mojo

[QUESTION] Is it a good decision to buy a replica for the first time ?

I bought an Epiphone Les Paul for about $500 20 years ago. I still love it and play it all the time. It needed a little work on the electronics a couple years ago, but it otherwise has been quite durable. Well worth the money

ok 1st, it was shipped and received on time, it was in double boxes, the inside guitar box had extra packing, outside box was secure and sufficient. 2nd the guitar was packed and totally covered well. 3rd it had epiphone owners manual, a neck wrench, extra info and an epiphone guitar case/window/bumper sticker, all in a big zip lock bag. 4th the sunburst was flawless and absolutey beautiful, smooth and shiny

Finally, why do I promote this guitar so highly, For the love of music, in the hope that some child will be interested and some parent wont be duped into buying expensive things that may or may not be as well built as this guitar, it can make a difference if a person holds interest, and perhaps an adult can continue in their own efforts and enjoy better, this is a simple and great guitar, thank you for your time to read this, and please enjoy the music you make with this fantastic guitar

 Love the feel of this guitar. The guitar was made in China, however it says that it was set up and inspected by Epiphone in the USA. It was set up perfectly, intonation was right on. Weight is a little less than a Les Paul Standard, because of the flat face, buy that is okay

 It is comfortable to play not overly heavy. Very basic, and traditional, with the flat top mahogany slab body, and single volume, and tone knobs. The finish is beautiful, light gloss over a beautiful transluscent cherry sunburst finish. It has a Gibson type, flat bottom, bell shape, truss rod cover, that says Les Paul Special II

I did a couple of custom upgrades, like adding a custom flat mounted tortoise pickguard (custom made, bought from eBay), which makes the guitar look phenomenal, also I upgraded the pickups with chrome covered Humbucker (type) (bought on AMZ for $14) for more of a vintage sound (not wound as tight as the stock pups), also the chrome dresses it up. Note: the stock pickups did sound fine, just a matter of preference

Beautiful Guitar for the Price!

This guitar is very attractive looking, and plays well right out of the box. I am a beginner guitarist, so please take this review for what it's worth. I am extremely pleased, and don't plan on ever upgrading. This guitar is a darker cherry red wood color in the center than shown in the picture

I’ve always been a casual player- 2 practices a week sorta thing so I never thought I necessarily “needed” a higher-end guitar until last week when I decided to upgrade from the same Epiphone i’ve had since I started playing in the summer of 2014.

[GEAR] After 7 years, I pulled the trigger and bought my first Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe :)

That’s one of my rigs and it absolutely roars. It’s what an electric guitar is supposed to sound like, it’s what I hear when I think of the electric guitars

Personally I'm a sucker for those 70's treble boosted tones, think Blackmore, Rory Gallagher and Page.

Something about that sound just makes it so versatile, plus you can really hear the articulation of their playing with the natural character of the overdrive.
