 Here's the clean tone. The soul food has a clean, transparent overdrive. As you can tell, it just really dirties it up just a little bit so that way it sounds very amp-like. You ever turn up an amp just on a, just say we turn this up, the gain part of it, just a little bit more, and it just dirties it up or breaks up that much and it just sounds wonderful

 I always leave it on true bypass because it has a little bit too much treble added in with the buffer. One of the things too I like about this pedal is that it is pretty responsive to your pick, picking your, if you're using your fingers, if you're using a pick, it is very responsive. So I'll show you the clean tone, see what it sounds like, so differentiate. So here we go

 We are petal demoing an electro-harmonic soul food.

 It's a very, very affordable petal for the worship leader

 who needs just a really nice, clean, transparent boost

 to, well, kind of a dirty little bit of a boost as well.

 which is a $2,000 petal on YouTube anymore.

 You heard it here first, probably not, let's be honest.

 But it is a very, very, very comparable petal

 A lot of people, I'm a truest, you know,

 But for me, I don't have a lot of money.

 I'm not even gonna pretend like I do, I'm very poor.

 But this right here is a very good, good second best.

 And so the way I have it set up in my petal chain

 but I like to have this on just to dirty up

 So as we'll dive right into it, this is a PRS Starla,

 which is based off of the AC15, essentially.

 I don't really like to mess with that too much

 It does have a little bit of dirt to it,

 but that's just because the volume is all the way up

 and it's cranking a little bit of the amp as well.

 So it's really pushing that really nicely.

 It breaks up wonderfully, sounds beautiful, very smooth.

 Kinda sounds, it's not very rigid, in my opinion.

 let's turn it back to halfway, about noon.

 I use it on the low to medium side of gain,

 but it can do a little bit more higher gain.

 I mean, it's definitely not a distortion pedal,

 So it does have a nice bit of sound to it.

 So let's go ahead and mess with it like it is,

 but let's go ahead and mess with the treble knob now.

 Let's go ahead and turn that all the way down

 So to me, it kinda sounds a bit to that fuzz range,

 maybe just a little bit underneath that.

 Definitely not a very, very solid distortion,
