Yeah. So it's 119, which is a great price for a overdrive as solid as this. I think it's awesome

It also has really impressive dynamic response that cleans up really well if you play soft and gets a good raunchy bite if you dig-in. Coupled with a good Tele, you really could ask for no better. So, for me, this is sort of the answer to all my prayers. I've been chasing a certain guitar tone for a while and this is it.

Great transparent Overdrive!

Tried tons of OD pedals and this is by far my favorite. really great tone and shape. Notation remains clean throughout. A beast on its own. Great as a clean boost. Stack with a TS and you'll never buy another drive!

So I just got a MXR sugar drive (great pedal, btw) and one thing I love about it—besides the small size—is that the knobs are not too easy to turn. Some pedals (I’m looking at you strymon) have knobs that are so loosey goosey that if someone farts too loudly they’ll turn.

Quality mini overdrive pedal

Bought for my mini board at home use. I normally use a OCD on my larger board. I watched and read all the reviews of this Sugar Drive. I’m impressed and thinking this will be a keeper.

MXR Sugar Drive - If you own a tube amp get yourself a Klon clone. On my solid state Orange 35rt this was probably my least favorite pedal.

Does every guitar player have a wide array of distortion/fuzz/overdrive pedals?

I have a Maxon OD808 and an MXR Sugar Drive and that's it. I prefer to get most of my gain/distortion from my amp (EVH 5150 III).

I put together my 6 pedal board and I think it’s pretty solid.

Rolling up the drive adds gain that sounds so nice. This might be the baby bear porridge pedal... it’s just right. MXR Sugar Drive: It’s a Klon clone and it does its job right. Has a great drive and does the Klon thing which for the life of me I can’t really explain.
