and treble at 50%.. then lower the sound of your Music videos /youtube to 40% to 50% (it looks you need to raise volume more ,in order to balance the sounds ,more even) -Unless you will be using the speakers for a conference audio. or a microphone for social media

These things make a wonderful sound in a way that others just can't seem to produce and is just hard to explain. The other most important thing to me at least, is that they produced absolutely zero listening fatigue.

Update: I have recently completed building a new computer which I've tested the Edifier with. I got much more than what I was looking for!!! These speakers performed beyond what I expected!! Video games as well as watching music videos just blows your socks off while still in their shoes!!! I have a decent pair of computer speakers which I've pitted against WITH a subwoofer! Edifier made them sound as if they were inside a cracker jack box WITHOUT the surprise gift that come with it! So, my recommendation would be not to think twice about getting these speakers if your considering them for general use (not high powered hi fi systems), they're well worth the money. They're excellent for computers, cellphones and tablets. In a rooms with a simple basic stereo system, Edifier would prove to be just as impressive

This was about a year ago. I'm only up to the E's so far, but oh what a pleasure to be immersed in the glorious sound emanating forth from these wondrous horn-loaded speakers! I've been driving them with both solid state as well as tubed amplification (I change back and forth from time to time as an obsessed audiophile), and the sound is truly high-end. Timbral accuracy, detail, sound attack and decay, well balanced, tight bass, air.

I had reinstalled the original driver but still had the same problem. Anyway, I ordered these Edifier 1280DB speakers, and found absolute stability using the digital driver, without the noisy rumble that I previously had. They are definitely stronger than the JBL Pebbles I was using before too. There are others who have stated that they do not have enough bass, but that is not my experience, and I am in the music business

These are exciting speakers to play and they really suck you in. I have Usher, PSB and NHT here and I like these a lot. Sound quality compares well with the NHT Classic 3 overall which were once called the best speakers under a thousand dollars. At the price difference I strongly favor the JBLs and the very tight bass helps make these speakers way more exciting and fun than the NHT

I'm no audiophile, but one need not be an audiophile to know when they've encountered a quality product. The Edifier R1280DB Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers are a quality product. The first thing I noticed is how attractive the speakers are. They'll look great anywhere and are small enough to tuck away if they need to be out of sight

The height is perfect and my wife likes the look of these far better than the old Yahama towers these replaced.
