I went around one day in Sydney and tested all the earphones I could find in 3 stores and was just stunned by the performance difference in the Sennheiser compared to the rest. It was a huge difference.

Focal's typically have good punch or slam and a more or less neutral bass response so it should be a good fit. Another comfortable closed back that's been well received is the Dan Clark Audio Aeon 2 Noire but it's said to have very little bass impact which would be consistent with the other DCA products I've owned. Having owned products from both brands I'd buy a Focal if sound quality is the priority and the Dan Clark headphone if comfort is the priority.
