Casting Performance

Great backlash control and excellent distance even with very light lures. Good bait caster for skipping baits too. Had mine for almost 2 years and works just as well as when it was brand new. Low maintenance

Reel don’t perform right

Reel don’t perform right, drag system not working right reel stiff casting is real noisy like something inside not right. Didn’t use reel when I first got it and my 30 days were up so I figured I just got screwed.

The Daiwa is the easiest to use. The brakes do the work for spool control along with the thumb. You do not need to adjust the tension knob.

Best baitcaster for under $300 (1st high end reel)

The Elite is lighter, casts just as well as the DC, and feels so solid. For casting distance the Elite, for close combat fishing lighter jigs the Tatula SV TW103, for close combat fishing in the jungle weedbeds the SV TWS.

It's a good reel, it can cast far and feel nice in my hand. Only problem is that it is on the heavy side compare to my Lews and Abu Revo. Fish with it a whole day and it wears you out.
