Daiwa Tatula 100

I mean they just very very very comfortable. Um, all in all for the price, I mean you can't really beat them.

Honestly Lew's aren't bad but I'd go with a daiwa tatula for around that price. Trust me when I say you'll thank me later.

I was very excited awaiting this reel to arrive. I purchased a Curado DC and an SLX, at the same time I purchased this Daiwa 100. The 100 is the least impressive of the bunch. I 100% agree with the Daiwa Tatula. I own a Curado DC and I bought my son a Tatula for 1/2 the price and in my opinion it’s a better casting reel.

Good value reel and performance. Very comfortable and palms nicely easy to setup with no backlash at all powerful enough to pull specs and reds can do it all

Daiwa Tatula. Under 200, casts great, solid drag. Hard to find a better real at the price point in my opinion.

I have that reel (just the reel, not the combo) and I love it. Probably the best all-around bait-caster I have. I have a Daiwa Tatula TASV103, and I prefer the Lew’s over it (start the roasting…..).

I think the Daiwa Tatula has the edge even against the Shimano slx xt, the Daiwa breaking system is just better, if you're a heavy user the slx xt will lose it's smoothness faster and it comes with cheap felt drag washer (for a $130 reel) against carbon drag washers in the Tatula.
