 It is a little bit fiddly working out which bit is which but certainly once you've got the bits done and you're kind of a little bit used to it, absolutely brilliant. Obviously if you want to increase the cooling a little bit more you can add that extra fan if you want to with the included equipment. Which would then actually probably put it a little bit closer to the D15 which again is still phenomenal considering the price difference and even the size difference. So overall I would say if I was to give this a star rating it's got to be a 4

 When we get to those higher temperatures and pushing those 12 cores and 24 threads in Cinebench obviously it is going to push this thing to the absolute limits. But there was no throttling as such, the actual clock speeds were slightly lower, didn't throttle as such but just didn't boost as high as it would have done with the D15. So there's a 50 to 100 MHz difference across the cores so there is that to it. If you're looking for the utmost performance you can get out of your processor then obviously spending more money on something like the D15 is going to make a little bit of sense

Purchased this CPU Cooler due to my CPU running hot as of late. It is a 6-year old computer with an AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black CPU running at up to 3100 MHz and I don’t overclock. Not sure if it was due to the age of my CPU, or the Stock CPU cooler, or maybe background software conflicts causing stress on the CPU. But it was reaching 70+ deg

I moved the stock Cooler Master 12cm case fan to the front, & added a Thermaltake A1280 to the rear exhaust position. With the nearly solid mesh front, this gives a straight-thru air flow, w/ the HDDs located one in the lowest slot, and the other higher than the top of the front fan. All cables were rerouted for max airflow

 Everyone's favorite air cooler is getting some really useful design upgrades. So I'm going to go through the three main design changes to Cooler Master's ultra-popular Hyper 212 EVO. This is version 2, and the first change that's going to be useful for a lot of builders out there is that they've moved to an asymmetrical layout. So now you get more room for those tall sticks of RAM that always seem to just kind of butt up awkwardly against your cooler

 When I start using the computer for 3D programs or video intense games, the temps get up to 98°F (37°C). Some of that I'm sure is from the big video card, pushing up heat from below.  This isn't a quiet fan. None of them (that I bought) are

  I have read that the stock fan/cooler cools the chip to around (80°C) 176°F which isn't a bad temp for a chip. I believe that "normal" operating temps of things is around 180°F. But still. 

  This isn't a quiet fan. None of them (that I bought) are. Of course, the speed can be adjusted, but it doesn't quiet it down much at all, & too low will have the temps rise quickly, needing more flow & speed. So I knock off one star for that, because it's 2020, & quiet fans are as common as quiet mice & keyboards

 Then I check the screws before putting the mobo in to the case.  I haven't ever had to re-apply thermal paste to a Cooler Master cooler in all of the years I have been using them exclusively. Quality thermal paste & attention are what is important to these high quality parts.

 First the fans... I didn't use the MSI fans (i've heard they can be noisy, and I have no clue why MSI didn't opt for better fans in this thing)

 The refresh rate of this thing is horrific. Like 2 frames per second? Maybe 3? It's just choppy looking if you use one of the animated pictures. I'm not sure if I can make my own animations yet. I'll be trying, but it only supports 

A cute novelty, that is a letdown.

 With regards to their noise efficient performance it is good to see rubber dampers on each corner that really should help isolate some of those vibrations. With that said I did expect a bigger improvement versus some of the 360 mm competitors particularly when the other 60 mm fan equipped ACETech built unit ACES' ROG Ryogen 2 360 offers so much better VRM cooling. Either way we don't have complaints with the incidental VRM cooling from MSI's unit it's just that the noise penalty of the water block fan is probably not worth as much performance gain as we'd have liked. To summarize all-out noise balanced cooling performance from the MSI MEG Core Liquid S360 is good, it's strong

 The supplementary water block fan on MSI's all-in-one liquid cooler seems to be of little importance when balanced against its additional noise output but with that said it did have a small benefit on the VRM thermal performance in our test system and depending on your test hardware your motherboard your M.2 SSD it may provide a bigger benefit. Cooling control through the MSI center software is generally good albeit with some minor limitations as usual though Corsair really has set the standard when it comes to software with IQ and it is difficult for MSI to compete with that fully fledged mature ecosystem. Of course some of the cheaper 360mm all-in-one liquid coolers will outshine MSI's MEG Core Liquid S360 from a value biased cooling performance perspective but they don't offer the screen or water block fan or dedicated software control that some buyers may be looking for so there's that

 Overall I think MSI has done a reasonable job with the MEG Core Liquid S360 all-in-one liquid cooler. Noise efficient cooling performance is good, the screen works well and the 60mm water block fan offers some flexibility depending on your test system. There is stiff competition in this market notably from Corsair's H150i Elite LCD which is roughly the same price but has some benefits. With that said I think MSI does enough to make this cooler worthy of consideration

 Either way we don't have complaints with the incidental VRM cooling from MSI's unit it's just that the noise penalty of the water block fan is probably not worth as much performance gain as we'd have liked. To summarize all-out noise balanced cooling performance from the MSI MEG Core Liquid S360 is good, it's strong. Typically we saw cooling and package power performance only slightly behind that of Corsair's H150i Elite LCD and Thermaltake's Tough Liquid Ultra 360 LCD equipped all-in-ones.  I'm actually expecting a lot from these fans. This is actually the hydro bearing compared to the ball bearing. Their working conditions a little bit different, but the performance wise, it should be the same. And we also have some of the promotion cards and this is the installation guide

 There's like three lined up, and this one's the top one, and I think during the second half of last year, they also released their liquid cooling products for their E-Series and A-Series of liquid cooling products. And I think this one is, you know, performance-wise, I'm not expecting a lot of difference compared to the ROG Stryogen 2. For the matter of fact, they're both using the A-Stack 7 generation of the pump, which is, you know, sometimes people mention that it has a little bit higher noise compared to the previous generations. And of course, as your liquid premium products, they also have a very fancy small screen here that can show some of the status of your system

 It's blocking some of the wind out. I really don't like this VRAM cooling fan. It's generating noises, it's increasing the cost, it's doing nothing for your VRAM and also for your entire motherboard. And the last thing is that I feel like the last thing is also the one that I have talked about earlier, that there is no improvement

This AIO Needs More Work! - MSI MEG S360 All-in-One Liquid Cooler Unboxing and Review

 Now they sent this over to me for review. It's not sponsored or anything. They just wanted me to check it out and tell you guys what I thought. And I am running an Alder Lake Intel build, which is known to run very hot, so I figured this would be a nice little addition to add a bit more cooling performance and some more style points because this cooler actually features a freaking LCD screen on it that lets you display a multitude of cool things on it

 I put this cooler on a Ryzen 9 7950x (socket AM5). It keeps the CPU amazingly cool, with minimum fan noise. It's actually kind of funny, because when I am doing something that stresses the CPU, I can hear the fans spin up, but when I stop stressing the CPU they spin down within about 5 seconds. I take that as a testament to how well they carry heat away from the CPU

 Not good.  Overall, I give it a 5 for the cooler itself, a 0 for the documentation and ease of installation, and a 2 for the cables. Call it a 3 overall. I hate to be so stingy with the stars, but IMO MSI needs people to downrate them or they won't fix the documentation problem

 But then with the Kraken we get twice the warranty so paying about 5000 rupees more or 60 US dollars more for a two weeks warranty does sound more valuable to me personally. I emphasized on the word personally because I know a lot of people won't agree with me but that is if I'm going for an expensive display pump AIO like these. Because performance wise they are anyway quite close to each other with actually many other offerings that cost half the price but of course with no display slabbed on the pump. So will I be recommending this AIO over the NZXT if you absolutely want a liquid cooler with a display over it? Well clearly this math is very subjective as the poles here represent quite a balanced result

 I mean, still fans don't make any noise. And as per my hearing observation, these fans are one of the most silent fans I have tested recently on any of the 360mm AIOs I have reviewed. So I have to give them the credit for pairing up one of the best fans from their catalog on this AIO. These are solid high performance fans and are already quite expensive

 So pretty sure MSI chose to not implement any sort of RGB here to keep the cost as low as possible. Still, that pricing is kind of an ouch. And these fans do have noise damping rubber pads across its corners. Because this AIO has been through a few of the reviewers, some of the fans on the radiator had vents on them
