 It goes for at least $75 if you were to buy It yourself depending on which retailer you're looking at, so it is a premium part. More importantly, though, it feels solid for any of the tremolo techniques and also palm you now. So with features like the roasted maple neck roll, fingerboard, lumen, lace spoke wheel, truss rod adjustment system, and the go toe bridge for just technically under a thousand dollars, you might think that Charbel may have had to skimp on the pickups, but no, they have not. The DK 24 is loaded with Seymour Duncan's and Saij 10 custom full shred in the bridge and two Ssl six custom flat Strat single coils in the middle and neck positions

 There's something special about this guitar. when you go through literally a new guitar every week, things can get kind of samey. I'll put it this way, it's very rare a guitar comes in here that I just do not want to send back, especially one that's not a single cut like. If you're new around here, you might not realize how high praise this is considering this Charbel is not a Les Paul I Played some nice Super Strats but really been tempted to own one until now I had loved the hell out of this guitar I was thinking about it and physically there isn't anything I'd really change I'm not sure if I'm completely sold on the Th10 bridge with how bright it is I can see it might be a little finicky with certain rigs and maybe some dome knobs would look a little higher-end I mean these look and feel like the same knob on my squire? Charvel pro mod dk24 would be my suggestion. Got one of these a few weeks ago and been loving the bridge (it has a floating tremolo, lets you bend up and down a pretty large range). Strat-style guitar, stays in tune like a dream even when using the tremolo aggressively. They go for $1000 or so new, and have HH, HSH, and HSS configurations (maybe they even have an SSS configuration?)

[QUESTION] New intermediate guitar

 Roasting maple, roasting any wood removes all the moisture from it which causes less wood movement when you go from different climates. So I travel and play quite a bit and you never know what the weather's gonna be like and it's always nice to know that your guitar is gonna remain intonated. So this guitar is really solid and really stable there. Even being put through the elements, it's really starting to prove itself is very, very worthy

 You never kink your cables or anything like that. It is super wise and it's completely out of the way, including when you sit down and like play on your couch. I'm a big-time couch potato player I Think you can log some of your best playing time and a lazy boy? it's still out of the way. so so cool

 pretty well if you are in the market for something versatile that you know is gonna hold up If you're a touring musician, a studio musician, or you just really really like to play, this thing is so so killer. Let Charvel know that I said super kudos. Love it. Could definitely see myself even having a second one piece homies

 I'm a big-time couch potato player I Think you can log some of your best playing time and a lazy boy? it's still out of the way. so so cool. I think typically this would be like a side mounted thing on a charvel, right? or is the top mounted like a strap? I Don't know, Let me know. Cool

Charvel Pro-mod DK24 Review

 It's really deep so it practically hugs you. It's really comfortable and we have a really nice sculpted heel here which comes right from the top on down to the lower on here. It's really, really comfortable and super smooth. It's really, really nice and really beautifully crafted

 It's absolutely ace and you can do all those you can do all those dive-bombs and it sounds absolutely awesome I Absolutely love it! It's truly brilliant I Have to say I Don't think I've missed anything. It's truly amazing I Absolutely love this guitar. the jack socket as well just case you were anywhere it is, it's on the back here. Let's give it a listen

 Guitar Geek them for you. In all seriousness, a cooked maple Mac is really good because it's completely totally impervious to climatic changes, all the moisture and evil is all sucked out of it when it's cooked, and should you ever need to make an adjustment for it, if you're the travelin type, there is a thumbwheel truss rod adjustment down here, so you covered for that. In terms of feel, it's really comfortable. Unbelievably comfortable

 but I'm not gonna be playing in Ultra today because this is the American original 60s model and I chose it because it's pretty much the classic setup for what the Jazz Master built its foundation on. You got to jazz master pickups in the center. These are not 2p 90s. They are single coils designed specifically for the Jazz Master just a little bit wider, more mellow pickups

 This tone and this volume and this toggle switch I have nothing to do with it. So you're working specifically with this neck pickup. but I think you'll hear it's a it's a much more rhythm based, kind of dark in tone and these two rollers right here become your volume and your tone control respectively. So for this, you can do a lot of very pretty balanced cord stuff, or you can kind of mess with that tone and get some funkier tone rolled off leads going

 One of my favorite players of all time. Nels Cline In Wilco plays this guitar all over. He uses it very famously on the solo for Impossible' Germany which just has one of the coolest stones I've ever heard in my life. but you know you can hear those kind of rounded, warm mellow tones that you might associate with a jazz player

Beautiful guitar, don’t get me wrong, however, I’m giving this 3 stars for the horrendous set up it came with. Intonation was wack, truss rod was wack, saddles were wack, a string actually unwound from the bridge when I used the whammy bar. The fret ends were also very sharp. My verdict is that if you’re a little hands on and know how to fix these minor issues it’s a good buy, but for beginners or ones that are scared to work on a guitar you’ll have to pay for a professional setup which can range from 50-100$ so you make the call if you wanna spend the money

Great guitar, terrible setup

I thought it was a bit overpriced with a £1000 starting bid considering everything, and I wasn't in a position to go and collect it, and it was relisted a number of times and never sold so I thought I would wait until the seller reduced the price a bit, and didn't buy it. Then the listing ended and it never went back up again. I still slightly regret not buying it, because those old sixties Fender offsets and student guitars are just *so* cool, but they're pretty uncommon on this side of the Atlantic.

Looking for a little inspiration, classing myself as a new player, returning after a 15 year hiatus since I last put any real effort into learning and seem to be in the right place mentally where I'm back into it, and loving it.

Problem is I want all the gear, but have no idea. I'd love to hear what people aspire to own, any style/genre, any price, it just needs to be something special, extra points for why...

It also kind of gave me a slight frame of reference to know what to expect and made me realize just how high-tech this thing really is. So first off, unlike all the other Ultra series guitars, the Jazz Master body shape is actually brand new to the high-end lineup offender. It had no Elite counterpart to replace because it just didn't exist in that lineup
