- Intermittent fasting has been great for weight control and I feel like it’s played a role in clearing up my skin too! 

- I wash my face with only water every morning and night, face washes leave my skin kind of irritated. 

- Cutting out sugar played a huge role in getting rid of the random pimples I’d get from time to time.

PM: Garnier micellar water to remove spf/make up, Differin BP wash, tret 0.1% every other night, Cetaphil daily moisturizer

 I finally said enough and visited with a derm in Sept who put me on spironolactone and tret. We slowly walked up the doses over 6 months until we saw an effect. It was was a process but happy with the results!

AM: Differin BP wash, Cosrx snail mucin, Cetaphil daily moisturizer, and then either Australian Gold tinted 50 spf or Bareminerals tinted moisturizer with 30 spf

i’ve come across a few “____ things i don’t buy” videos on youtube from minimalist creators i watch. two have said they don’t use face wash or have a skincare routine.

not saying everyone needs a ten step routine (mine is two steps) but in my opinion, not washing your face at all is quite gross because dirt and dead cells build up, just like on your body.

i wondered if not washing your face was a common thing in minimalism or was it just a coincidence?

if i come off rude i’m genuinely not trying to, i’m just  curious to see if this is a bigger practice than i thought.

 Currently I put Hada Labo Gokujyun premium on my damp face, then sometimes a tiny dot of Cetaphil pro eczema lotion. This is necessary for my eczema but leaves me shiny, so the Cerave goes on top and makes me look matte again. But I’m always looking for improvements, and the Illiyoon gets a lot of mentions.

I pick out my most bland and hydrating products: so I'll go in with Cosrx 96 essence (I know it's not safe for everyone but it is for me) and then Illiyoon ATO Ceramide Concentrate Cream on the top to seal it in.
