 I do like the packaging/\s/too since it is in a opaque container and it just/\s/ has a little bit of an opening to pour out the/\s/product but it's not in a um jar or anything like/\s/ that that you're constantly opening and closing/\s/so that's really nice and let me just say I feel/\s/ like every time I applied this instantly my/\s/skin felt a lot smoother which was really nice/\s/ um it always gave my skin a nice glow.  First off, off, the box right here it/\s/says that this formula contains Mve technology/\s/ um which is supposed to basically control/\s/hydration throughout the day rather than/\s/ right when you apply it supposed to maintain that/\s/hydration throughout the day so that's really/\s/ Great to see since I have super dry skin and then/\s/we have the Vitamin C of course which is supposed/\s/ to visibly brighten to even the look of the skin/\s/tone It's also supposed to be gentle on the skin/\s/ Some people do find sensitivities to Vitamin C/\s/so I'm glad that that's stated. Allergy tested/\s/ and it's suitable for all skin types and it is a/\s/fragrance free which I love to see it's developed/\s/ With dermatologists, it's a unique formula with/\s/three essential ceramides and ten percent pure/\s/ Vitamin C L-ascorbic acid Um, so it says it's going/\s/to visibly brighten the skin while helping to/\s/ restore this protective skin barrier. TESTING THE CERAVE VITAMIN C SERUM ON MY ACNE SCARS FOR 2 WEEKS | Dry, Sensitive, Acne Prone Skin

Not super pricey but definitely overhyped- all of the cerave products I've tried. The sunscreen moisturizer was a horribly thick texture that refused to smooth down and left an incredibly noticeable white caste, also broke me out. Cerave moisturizer cream- not bad but broke me out. Cerave vitamin c serum- overall meh, it tends to pill and the packaging is weird and I don't think it seals all the way (vitamin c is suuuper unstable so I question the viability of the product)

[Misc] What pricey skincare product turned out to be a flop for you?

 The brightening effect is similar to using a facial oil, yet this serum is definitely not oily. It soaks right into the skin, and you will se a noticeable improvement in your completion. Just a little dab is required. Very little goes a long, long way

Washing face after sunscreen

 It feels rough and I feel like I have more wrinkles under my eyes because of it. Before you suggest using a softer washcloth, I already considered that, and I just don't want to deal with wiping my face.

 the nights I don't use tret I'll use niacinamide. simplifying my routine cleared up my skin and gave me a really healthy glow.

37 need some help - not looking for skin perfection but a little less rough would be nice.

I used this product a long time ago (teenager) and stopped due to all the new products on the market. Lately, (I very recently turned 40) my face has been breaking out and become very dry, I have noticed my aging immensely..

This is the only face wash I will use. I know it's advertised mostly as a makeup remover--which it does amazingly well--but I also use it in the morning as my face wash because it moisturizes and primes my face so well for anything next--sunscreen, makeup, whatever. It helps reduce the sight of dry spots and my skin looks so much more supple since I started using it about two years ago. I have rosacea, I am prone to acne and to eczema, AND I have a rare precancer condition called DSAP and AK that causes dry scaly patches
