Ponds Cold Cream

My grandma swore by Ponds lemon cold cream (RIP to this awesome product) and was a believer in not following fashion or beauty trends, but rather to do what makes you feel your best without worrying if it’s in style or not

It was too greesy for me, I have oily acne prone skin and don't want to risk getting more acne from this product. I really want to love this knowing that women in the 50s had used this product too.

The best sunscreen I’ve used that doesn’t cause breakouts is Elta MD. But yes you have to wash it off every night. Double cleanse. I use Ponds cold cream and a wash cloth, then Cerave hydrating cleanser. Good luck!

Must have changed the consistency. Use to be a lot thicker now it is too runny and doesn't stay on skin after wiping off makeup. What a shame. I used Ponds cleanser for over 30+ years.

Ponds Cold cream unscented. I wipe it off with a baby wipe and then wash my face with soap. Sooo much gentler on the skin than a microfiber cloth and so so fast! Removes waterproof mascara and long lasting liquid lipstick.

This thing is greasy. WTH. It's like putting Vaseline on your face and then trying to wash it off - not easy

Cheap and a large bottle!. Equate brand at Walmart has some great face washes that are generics of many name brands. The Nivea I mentioned above, bag balm (a tin of that will last forever), Ponds cold cream and Ponds moisturizer, vaseline to name a few. You can definitely build a routine on affordable items or items that are multi-purpose if they work for your skin.

in the evening, I use fragrance free Ponds Cold Cream to remove makeup and/or sunscreen followed by the same routine plus tret. I've been using tret for about 2 years now and found my skin looks way better if I use it every other night. the nights I don't use tret I'll use niacinamide. simplifying my routine cleared up my skin and gave me a really healthy glow.
