 It's gonna have some really nice bounce to it so you're not gonna feel stuck in the mattress at all. When you're lying on your back, weights evenly distributed, you're gonna feel more on top of the Casper Hybrid mattress. In my opinion, you'll get a little bit of contouring feel from the foam comfort layers, but the pocketed coils really give the mattress a nice bounce some great mobility. I Didn't feel stuck when I was changing positions or anything like that and I think there's good support if you are back sleeper, you're worried about that pain keeping your spine and nice Lyman thinkin gonna be pretty happy with the Casper hybrid here

 I Know rolling onto your stomach, what you're looking for is what your hips are doing. Are they sinking too far into the mattress? If you are extra stomach sleeper and your hips sink too far into the mattress, it's gonna throw your spine out of the line. You're gonna wake up with ace and pains in your lower back in general. If you do roll onto your stomach for a portion of the night I Think I'm gonna be okay here on the cast for hybrid mattress, but if you are a really strict stomach sleeper, you're gonna want to find something with firmer support now as soon as just taking my word on the feel of the Casper hybrid I Wanted to run a few tests to get a more objective look at the mattress and the first one up is the pressure map test and I put a pressure map down

Hello! I'm a petite adult (under 120lbs) looking for a supportive mattress due to chronic neck pain (related to migraines) and a low chemical/odor mattress (again for migraines). I'm a reformed stomach sleeper (thanks physical therapy!), and currently split my time between back and side sleeping, trending towards more back sleeping. 

From reading through this sub and online reviews, the recommendation for someone my size tends to be a foam mattress, but I'm concerned about support.

Mattress History: Previously, I had a no-name spring/pillow top mattress that sank in the middle after a few years. For the past two years, I've had a Casper (old original) mattress, which took awhile for my back to adjust to (their platform helped), but it seems to exacerbate some of my neck/upper back issues. I sleep with a Tempurpedic Neck support pillow, at the recommendation of my physical therapist, and on the Casper it seems like it doesn't provide the same amount of support as on the spring-base mattress. It feels like my shoulders sink in a bit too much (on both my back and side), which creates a weird angle. 

I'm leaning more towards a hybrid mattress to get the extra support I'm looking for, but not gonna lie, all of the warnings against it based on my size have made me a bit nervous. Is there a supportive, low chemical foam mattress that I haven't found yet? Is a hybrid mattress really that uncomfortable for petite adults?

 A month later: The fumes are mostly gone, just an occasional faint reminder of those miserable first nights. Otherwise the mattress has been comfortable.

This is my first mattress of this type so I wasn't sure how it would work out. My last mattress was an inner-spring and just like all other mattresses I've owned, it slowly developed the grand canyon indention which made things uncomfortable. Over time I would develop back pain, hip and shoulder pain. So this time I did my research and this Casper mattress checked all the boxes

 The support areas are well laid out which is great for a side-sleeper like myself. Now I just have to figure out how to dispose of my old mattress. :)

I have had my queen size Layla Hybrid for almost a year and I am still very happy. The mattress has held up well. I use the firm side, which has been great for me as a 5'10", 190 lb side sleeper with minor shoulder and hip issues.

So got a new king Layla Hybrid after 10 years on a queen gel memory foam mattress. Figured I'd keep track of how it sleeps over a year period for those curious of purchasing it.

Night 1: Chose the soft side to try first, went in with some back pain after building the bed frame and lugging the mattress up a flight of stairs. Keep in mind this thing is heavy, around 128 lb in the box. Sadly the two included pillows were missing, so if those ever arrive I'll review as well. Anyway soft side you definitely sink a bit, I'd give it around a 4/10 for firmness. Definitely comfortable but back did flair up depending on my position. Edge support is good, feels well built. Temperature was perfect, didn't notice any excessive warmth so no issue there. Overall happy with the purchase so far, but will probably switch to firm tonight to see any difference. 



Night 2: Nooow we're talking. Switched to firm, no regrets. Flipping the mattress was fairly easy, but definitely recommend a partner to help. Super comfortable regardless, firmness at around a 7/10 I'd say. No issues with back pain, felt great in all positions. Still no problem with temperature. Very satisfied with this mattress so far so we'll see how it feels in a few more days. In addition, Layla already reached out and has shipped those missing pillows so bonus points for excellent customer service. Onward!
