 It is doing a great job of printing. I love the duplex feature, printing on both side of the paper. I now print everything using the two-sided feature. The wi-fi works without any problems

 I always had to plug the printer USB cable into my laptop. I am still on my starter ink cartridges, soon I will have to buy new cartridges. The color printouts are smooth with no lines or streaks like my old printer used to produce. I am happy with the performance of this printer with one exception, this printer does not print from the Google Cloud, so if you want to print from android, you have to load a an android app to get the printing to work

I am happy with this printer

 Amazing.  If not for the stingy amount of ink that was shipped with these printers, I would have given it a 5-star rating. But aside from this issue, this is the best printer that I have purchases so far, and it is a great value too.

 But the instructions are pretty clear, so you can do it on your own if you take it step by step.  The print quality is outstanding and text comes out very sharp. Graphics and photos are fine too for an all-in-one printer.  The main thing that many users have pointed out is that the ink cartridges installed on this printer do not last very long

  The cartridges that come with the Pixma aren't close to being full when they are shipped with the printer, as I found out when I refilled the color and black ink cartridges. I was able to fill them to full capacity which was at least 2 times more on the color cartridges, and about 4 times more on the black ink unit. Amazing.  If not for the stingy amount of ink that was shipped with these printers, I would have given it a 5-star rating

Small footprint - Canon MG3220

  Please keep in mind that my review is based on the difference between a 13 year old printer with 2 buttons on it and a scaner that is 10 years old that took forever to scan anything. I truley feel that I have moved into the 21st century with this MG3220 and I can't see the technology getting too much better in the next 13 years. We will see.  Bottom line

 It just thought everything you put in the scaner was 11'x17' This scaner will see the edge of a 4"x6" and stop the scan and start printing. A real time saver for me.  Please keep in mind that my review is based on the difference between a 13 year old printer with 2 buttons on it and a scaner that is 10 years old that took forever to scan anything. I truley feel that I have moved into the 21st century with this MG3220 and I can't see the technology getting too much better in the next 13 years

 I have to say that my old printer that finally went south after 13 years was a Canon BJ-3000. Now, that is a noisy printer with a longer aleignment time before it starts printing. Once again. comparing this printer to the BJ-3000, this printer is lightning fast and the print quality is as good as it gets

Does it all and you only need one

 My laptop stays on my desk for the most part.  The only thing so far that I dislike about this printer is how short the paper output tray is. Even if I'm printing just one page, it seems like the paper is going to shoot right off the tray onto the floor. Luckily I'm sitting within inches of it and can keep it under control

Single paper or a few, photo high end or plain it jams everything and occasionally misfeeds and then you get crap printing errors on your expensive paper with their expensive ink. I had the pro-100 for years and did great but this too many misses. Oh and yes I did all the alignments when I installed. OR it gets worse as Amazon puts me in contact with Canon and after 30 minutes Canon agrees to change it as it's defective

We have a Canon Pixma G6020 we bought before getting a Cricut. It has massive ink tanks and the cost per page is great. Price is about $280 but it comes with enough ink to print thousands of pages which offsets the cost.

Over the years we found the ink cartridges to be very expensive if you're doing any significant printing in color which is why we went with this printer.

My wife wants a color printer for print and cut. I’d rather spend more on a nicer printer than worry about ink prices being so expensive. Any suggestions? The new printers have eco ink but I’m not sure if that is best. Looking to spend under $250.

Print and cut best printer?

 Tried buying all new cartridges and everyone lists them as back order. 5 Star: Quality of print is exceptional. No Star: How can run a business with product like this?

It has an ethernet port & a USB B port for direct connect from computer/laptop to printer. Sadly, no standard USB for flash drives, or SD card slots

..which after running into problems printing my OWN artwork out, I decided to invest in a large format printer. The Inks seem to be only available (at this time) from Canon directly & I have found 2 other online places that offer them as well

 It is slightly noisy when doing so but nothing like a heavy metal concert level noise.  I would have preferred a larger screen AND to have it a touch screen, but that is a nit picky personal preference. (I did much research before investing in this so I already knew about the screen & was ok with it vs my printing needs that took a higher priority)  Printer quality is EXCELLENT. I am a Graphic Artist/Illustrator that does a wide range of art from oil portraits & landscapes to comic book illustrations
