Canon Imageprograf Pro-1000 vs Canon PIXMA G3220

There’s even a catch tray that needs to be purchased to capture all of the ink this printer wastes. I am not afraid of spending money to refill supplies but unit is completely off the hook. It really wouldn’t be that bad if I was printing a lot of photos or documents and the ink was consumed. This printer consumes ink all by itself

Amazing. If not for the stingy amount of ink that was shipped with these printers, I would have given it a 5-star rating. But aside from this issue, this is the best printer that I have purchases so far, and it is a great value too.

I have had it now for over a month and the fact that I can just go over to my computer and print from home is absolutely WONDERFUL!! Love the quality of the prints, people have asked where I got my pictures printed at and can not believe it when I tell them I printed them at home. My only wish is that it was a little wider to do a 20" wide x whatever length (in other words that it had a roll handler on it so that I could print longer prints, like panoramics). But over all the color is absolutely wonderful and deep and rich. The ease of use is awesome

It is doing a great job of printing. I love the duplex feature, printing on both side of the paper. I now print everything using the two-sided feature. The wi-fi works without any problems

Now I just wish I could find the ink discounted somewhere. Buy an extra clear coat cartridge - you will use it faster than any color.

Please keep in mind that my review is based on the difference between a 13 year old printer with 2 buttons on it and a scaner that is 10 years old that took forever to scan anything. I truley feel that I have moved into the 21st century with this MG3220 and I can't see the technology getting too much better in the next 13 years. We will see. Bottom line
