Frequently just disconnects, and then there's no way to reconnect without going back to the camera and putting it back into wireless communication mode. The auto-focus acts much faster than the X-T1 I used to have, especially within the normal lighting. However the auto-focus has difficult time when I tried close up shooting (Macro mode in X-T1) with the XF 35mm F2 lens. I have to use the manual focus by adjusting the ring of the lens. That said, its battery life leaves something to be desired, as you can't use it while it's charging. Also, while it can shoot at a quick 11 fps in its high-speed continuous shooting mode, it takes a long time to empty its photo buffer if you manage to fill it up. Still, if you're looking for a low-light powerhouse, this is a great option that should suit most people, thanks to its fantastic noise handling, great autofocus, and comfortable ergonomics.

As far as battery life goes these batteries are not meant to shoot thousands of pics, therefore I would recommend buying a separate battery. I had to change batteries only one day after shooting 400+ pics and taking some videos. Overall, I am very very pleased with this camera and look forward to buying new lenses and continuing to take amazing photos.

If you have a big budget get the EOS R6 with an EF adapter. Sell all of the EF-S glass and invest in a quality wide to normal (or telephoto) zoom like a 24-105.

Here are a few reactions after my first week with the Fuji: * Wow, I am completely blown away by the image quality coming out of this camera with the 18-55 kit lens (the more expensive one). The images are on par with those I would take with my 5Dii and a very good prime lens. But it's the kit lens! That zooms! See the attached picture. A buddy of mine has a similar setup to this in canon, he has the 6D mk ii with the 24-70ii and we film often together. His setup is nearly 3x the cost of mine and I still prefer the Fuji in a non-professional setting. THE GOOD: The combo of the xt20 and the 18-55 kit lens is stellar. The lenses for Micro Four Thirds are relatively lightweight, so carrying my camera and lenses while hiking is a no-brainer for me. If I had a camera with a bigger sensor, like the Sony a7 IV or Canon EOS R6, I would have to compromise on something—be it versatility and usability, or the sharpness of the lens—to keep the pack weight as low. The sensor gets me all the performance I need for anything but edge cases which I work around easily enough, and the lenses I carry with me are all sharp and cover the range I need.

I wouldn't really call the lens lightweight at all, and it makes the camera seem very front heavy. It actually made my camera seem just about as heavy as my old canon rebel (with a little 50mm on it). I felt like a bit of an idiot that I didn't even consider how big and heavy the lens might be.
