Cannondale Topstone vs Giant Revolt

Pretty much all I recommend are budget stuff. State All-Road, Poseidon X, Cannondale Topstone 4 to name a few. If you want to spend that much and have to have hydraulic brakes I would aim for a Tiagra 4700 groupset. Shimano 105 won’t be within your budget

The Giant Revolt aluminum frame bike is about that price and is a great bike for the money. I think there is a Jamis Renegade in that price range too that is a great bike.

I've crashed it while charging a steep single track section, no damage to the bike it's super sturdy. I think this is a great bike and doesn't break the bank while still having solid components. The only con is that it's a bit heavy, but a few upgrades in the future will help with that.

So after long research I ended up with Cannondale Topstone in mind with solid equipment (ideally 105 or GRX group set). With my height of 5' 8" and 29" inseam I need Small size of the frame and I've been looking for one like this in NYC area for a quite some time with no avail and being constantly told that most probably it won't be available till late fall or early '22.
