My dad has an early pair that he bought in college that I spent countless hours of my childhood listening to, so there's definitely a sentimental attachment to Klipsh for me. Splurged last weekend on a set of Heresy IVs and a Naim Uniti Atom

 It is not as detailed as my Emotiva XPS-1 (2nd gen), but in some ways that is good. The Emo seems to reveal every flaw in the vinyl. The Cambridge seemed to blow right over those without muddying the music. The headphone amp and volume control is a nice feature, but if you have a decent pre amp or stereo that you are feeding, you may not gain a benefit

 After spending three hours with the device, I have enough information to draw a conclusion. First off, the product came in a nice large box with the typical Cambridge nylon-like wrapping around the amplifier. It also uses a traditional 3 prong cord that you see on a computer desktop or laptop. Presumably it is powering a strong power supply housed within the unit

  System - Pro-ject Debut Carbon with acrylic platter, Ortofon 2m Blue (MM), ->phono amp->Yamaha Aventage 1030 (functioning as preamp) -> Outlaw 5000 amp -> B&W 683 towers. Also using Sennheiser 600 cans.  + Nice fit and finish, solid feel to the case + Labels for the inputs are written upside down and right side up, which is a nice touch + Balance knob in the back, useful if using the headphone amp that's built in + Having the headphone amp allows you to spin your vinyl without turning on the downstream components. + Sound - it has a nice musical quality to it

 The reason I bought this particularly unit was the hope that it would stronger voltage numbers compared to my Yamaha, that I would get an improvement, along with the fact that it is a shorter signal path. Alas, it made no difference in sound quality. It also isn't as powerful as the Yamaha. I had it at about 85% volume and that was equivalent to about -20 db on the Yamaha

 So I'm stealing about a centimeter, but I'm pretty sure the amp can cope with having the rest of the vent free. But you can see, I can still get to the headphone here and the volume control and the buttons. It just goes a little bit behind that lip. But turning it on sounds as good as the previous one, really

 The reviews of it, they all gave it five out of five within its price range. Of course you can spend thousands on cartridges, but as I say, when you start to get like really high end, then they end up being the moving coil ones with the low output, which I don't want anyway, but this was the cartridge I chose. And also I was able to get it for just under 80 pounds from Richer Sounds. It comes in a cardboard box

 The wire that came with it was too short though. It's definitely too short for my HiFi to reach from where I wanted it to the floor where the plug is. So instead I just substituted it with one of my own, which is one of the great things you can do when a device has a built-in transformer and uses a standard plug on the back. Of course, label the plug as well

 It goes straight back into it. And I was happy to see that even when you pull the plug and then put it back in, press the on switch, it will remember whatever the last one you use was. I just like little features like that. When they don't work like that, things get a little bit frustrating

With its elegant circuit design built out of top quality components, it's going to take your vinyl listening game to the next level, and we highly recommend it.  Featuring a new way of building the grounding circuit, it has actually even further lowered the distortion while raising the signal to noise ratio. So not only have we gotten an extra 5 decibels of gain, we've actually gotten less distortion and more signal to noise. For a product that's going to be virtually the same price, that is an awesome achievement by U-Turn, and really makes this thing stand out for its price class. Good job guys
