The Photon is a really good medium stiff boot, perfectly suitable for any type of riding, whether that be groomers, park, backcountry, anything. What's great about the Photon is that it's super customizable in terms of how it fits. So you have the Boa system here that controls the lower section of the boot, so to tighten the bottom, you simply pop this side dial and crank down, and that's closing the lower portion of the tongue

 And finally, this is something people don't really think about, but what keeps your feet the warmest is just good, continuous blood flow. So little details in this boot, like the very thin lacing guides, you're not having any chunky plastic where a binding strap can pinch and push and poke something into your foot that's going to cut off circulation and potentially get your feet cold.  top of the tongue, it's also pulling from behind in this unique lacing routing through

 of your board isn't responding to the movements of your foot.

 So having this really controlled, locked-in feel through this Boa lacing routing is really

Boots are super warm and fit very nicely. They definitely have a break in period and I would recommend heat molding them if you get the chance. I chose not to but wish I would have. First wear was a little snug but the do loosen up

This size 10 boot has a size 9 imprint on the snow and that's perfect for anyone with bigger feet. The Photon Boa comes in a lot of different colorways. There's some different lacing options

 It has a very very tall focus style cuff with internal liner locking lace system and sleeping bag reflective foil and what that does is it causes the heat to go back towards your body and the cold actually stays out the bottom of the boot, which is real good, and then of course there's this kind of lacing system with that Boa. It has a locked down control system to keep your heel locked in the heel cup. So with that focus cuff and with the way that the dial is reeled, it actually pulls the tongue closer to the heel pocket for a better secure fit, and then there's this thing. This is the Inprint 3 liner, extremely lightweight, thermal heat moldable

 It has external support panels, internal jay panels, and of course a Velcro closure system. I like this because it's body heat activated, but you can also use a heat molder and it features this thing inside. This is a level 2 footbed. It has an ESS support shank, micro cradle, has perforated top that has a soft touch to it too

2020 Burton Photon BOA Snowboard Boots

 Hello, I'm Matt Gough from TheHouse.com and this is a 2020 Burton Photon Boa snowboard boot.

 The Burton Photon Boa is a boot that stands above a lot of other boots. This is an all mountain

 intermediate to advanced level riders. It features a lot of great technology,

 but the thing that really stands out the most is basically two things. The first one is total comfort construction.

 This thing is going to feel the same way on day one as it does on day 100 and it also has shrinkage footprint

 reduction technology. This size 10 boot has a size 9 imprint on the snow and that's perfect for anyone with bigger feet.

 The Photon Boa comes in a lot of different colorways. There's some different lacing options.

 This is the dual zone Boa lacing option, which a lot of people really enjoy.

 It features a feel and flex rating of a 7, so it's quite a bit stiffer than what you'll find in most boots and a lot

 of that has to actually do with the support panels and of course this firm flex power-up tongue.

 Now this double Boa system is actually really nice. It features New England ropes.

 They have a lifetime warranty and it's a dual zone, so you can tighten the upper zone and of course the lower zone

 independently, which is a really nice thing. Now below your foot is this. This is an EST optimized outsole and

 features the Vibram Eco Step, which is 30% recycled rubber, which is actually really nice.

 It has B3 gel in the heel area for absorbing lots of impact and shock.

 Most people who ride the Photon Boa tend to ride a little bit harder.

 They need some more support, and that's why they choose to ride it, but a cool part about it

 internally is basically two things. It has a very very tall

 focus style cuff with internal liner locking lace system and

 sleeping bag reflective foil and what that does is it causes the heat to go back towards your body and

 the cold actually stays out the bottom of the boot, which is real good, and then of course there's this

 kind of lacing system with that Boa. It has a
