 If you know that it will primarily be used for reading and occasional note taking; I'd suggest a smaller screen such as the Boox Nova Air, Nova Air C (uses colour eink, if you're interested in colour) or maybe the recently released Meebook P78 Pro which are using 7.8 inch screens. However if you plan to use it for fairly heavy note taking, you'd likely want something larger such as a 10.3 Boox Note Air 2 Plus, or Bigme Carve Color or Max+, etc

Best E-reader for night

Its newest line of products will be rebranded to MeeBook and I think most of them use android so you can essentially install apks or install from the google play store. I’m guessing you’ll be reading manga so my recommendation is to get a 7.8” or more screen size because reading manga on anything smaller than that is not really enjoyable. Unfortunately that comes with a cost since most devices starting at that screens size are usually $200+

The machine is simple and elegant, but, however, I have issues registering and making the device certified by Google.
