Kobo Libra 2 Full Review, Plus Screen Comparisons

It's one of the best. It's a nice device, a really nice front light on the screen.

So that's pretty much all I have to say about the Kobo Libre 2.

* Battery life: Libra 2's battery life is nowhere near that of the Paperwhite; in one night of reading, I might lose \~10% of Libra 2's battery, but barely a couple percentage points on the Paperwhite. It's not a huge deal, but I don't want to go back to the Oasis days of constant charging. Charges fast, though, which is a plus, I guess.

Not enough control of margins. Not enough control over line spacing (I can't get either setting thin enough for my liking). I couldn't go back, especially now that the last two Kobos I've bought have had none of the inconsistent backlighting (the Clara HD which I installed a larger MicroSD card in, and the Libra 2 which is now my everyday device).

I’m nearly sold on the Libra 2, but have some worries as to how comfortable it is to use in bed. Is there any noticeable strain from the weight of holding the Libra above your head? Another thing is that I’ll often lay on my side to read, with my device being propped up horizontally by the bed. Would this be uncomfortable on the Libra given it’s odd shape and larger size?.
