If you want something that can take a beating none of these knives will do the job. I could however recommend the Benchmade freek in M4. It's a great knife, super tough and still very lightweight.

Looking for help from the guru's, I have a Benchmade 555. Its awesome but I want something new. Would like help for the next purchase. Here is some criteria

1) bomb proof/durable
2) not super expensive 
3) not overly larger, I like something a bit smaller

 Hey guys, TalonSai who recorded this video, that version of him was a little crazy. So he forgot to check the hashtag LockdownKnifeWeek. I'm going to do that and then we'll let him take over and all of his craziness. So looking at the hashtag today, I still don't think anyone has actually posted the exact knife that we're going to be taking a look at

 So let me know. So that's all that I had for the freak or super freak whatever you want to call it. I think this knife will definitely keep its place in my collection and maybe in the future I'll even test it out, carry it a little bit. And I think this one would actually be pretty good for a stress test so maybe we'll have to take it outside and beat on it a little bit in the future

 Alright going crazy guys, what's up? Back with another episode of Stuff N' Things, lockdown knife week, quarantined inside and we're bringing some knife reviews today. This is one that you may have seen on the channel in the past, I actually opened this during a mail time video. I used it to open some packages during that video and since then it has been in my collection however, I have not EDC'd this. It has virtually no wear on it although this knife can definitely take it

 I know the 940s from Benchmade have a cult following and I'm just really not a fan of those blades simply because of the blade shape, the aesthetics of it. A ton of people swear by those knives and I know you guys want to see a review on that however it's just not something I'm really interested in. This one is a little bit more my speed and I'm curious if you guys have one of these out there. Let me know in the comments down below how the steel has held up

Large but pocketable | Benchmade 560 Freek

 I always have a hard time picking up these pieces of paper off of the material that I've got here as the background. But anyways, that's going to be pretty much it here today, guys, for the super freak. Fantastic knife. I urge you to check it out

 I'm having a lot of fun playing with this knife, and I think that it'll serve people really, really well. You know, one thing we didn't do, for those of you who are still hanging on with me, we didn't do the paper cut test. Given the shape of the blade and the starting thickness, I'm going to assume that this thing is going to be a paper shredding machine. As always, the paper cut test is not a definitive cutting test

 So this paper cut test is only designed to give you a minimal idea of the thinness behind the edge and how it cuts something as simple as paper. So actually, first, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to do a pass with the PM2. Everybody's standard for a slicey knife, PM2 as usual, very slicey

 This knife, aesthetically, is very pleasing to me. It may not be your cup of tea, but to me, this is an awesome looking knife. The materials are top notch. The fit and finish is great on this one

The biggest complaint is pricing, with the regular freek going at 120 ish I see no reason for this one to hit 200 - that's too much, s30v is perfectly fine, the only thing they need to replace is the original freek rubber-ish handle with FRN and be done with it.  By the way, if you have a smaller hand or want the mini grip size knife, wait for it, I bet the mini version will come later this year

 The M4 steel is (should be) excellent if it is like other benchmade M4, I'm yet to test it hard. The only downside of M4 is that it comes coated, and a coated blade on the axis lock sucks, it just takes away some of the smoothness opening and closing, oh well..

Nice design, room to improve

I really leave a good blade on my knife, but this being said, I much more love a comfortable handle with little to no hotspots on it. The more it fills my hand, the better.  I don't really use gloves, so this is an important aspect for me.

 Perhaps it’s oriented slightly more towards the lightweight camping and hunting ground. Benchmade doesn’t offer much insight in their product descriptions, but for some reason I keep going back to hunting when I consider the Freek. 

6″ blade, and it weighs 3.72 ounces. This knife is made in America. As I mentioned earlier, I’d classify the 560 Freek as a large EDC knife

 It'S a nice knife. Let'S talk about what's great, though, for me what's great about the delica, is that this is just exceptionally easy to carry, and I mean that in a couple of ways the clip on it is kind of boring, but it's good. It'S got enough spring to it. It'S long enough really of the knife

 This is a really stellar knife for everyday carry and B was designed that way, and so for that price, I'm a ok with it, Donnie you're, not paying a huge price and what you're getting out of it is pretty masterful. So I like the price very much and I recommend a very strong way of the retail there and then finally, on the good side, this is a functionally minded knife and what I mean by that is that it's not meant to be jewelry. It'S not meant to be high-speed low-drag. No, it's just

 This guy does actually have full liners. If we take a look at me inside you, perhaps I need to shed a little light on the subject. You can see that inside the knife there are actually steel liners, which is a beautiful thing. It means that this has plenty of durability to it

 If somebody says Nick, I need a nice knife, but I started Spyderco delica and then I adjust from there if they need something cheaper if they need something weird, but this is really really great, and so I hope you buy a Delica. I hope you love the delica and I hope you'll remember that, even though there's a little bit of craziness up in the channel or an up in the knife world really at the end of the day, this is pretty much covering the bases. Ok, there you go. I hope I didn't offend your delicate sensibilities and that you have yourselves an absolutely wonderful rest of your day

 Oh look at that. I do. I don't even know what it is. So, let's look at look at this, so 380 thou on the handles

 It'S a non-stainless pm steel. So you get very high toughness for just cut myself a little bit for its wear resistance, uh and uh. It'S just as tough as you need it to be. It'S not going to chip on you within reason

 So what is that? 3? 8, if i'm not mistaken, yeah, it's 3 8. Look at that now, it's very thin! It'S very light. Let'S weigh this bad boy. 2

 Well, it's one that just ends up in my pocket, and i just forget about it, especially this k390 version, because it just cuts and cuts and cuts um. But i really like this vitoku 2 version, also because of how easy it is to get a screaming edge. It'S a carbon steel, it's pretty basic, so yeah it just it ends up in my pocket and it just stays there for a while. I don't really think about it because it just works, it just cuts

Spyderco Delica 4 Review (Buy K390 Now!)

 It’s not a super steel, but it’s a step above budget blade steels like AUS-8 and 8Cr13MoV. 

 These are really minor issues, and if its the worst thing I can say about the knife then it really says something. 

 The Boyd dent on the lock bar helps ensure that the knife will not inadvertently close either.

 Look at the difference, so you got fifty dollars down here versus 80.. Here'S the sharpie for a size, reference, look how much more knife you get now. I know that this here has their hcr 13 mlv and it's from china you're gon na have to sharpen this

 Everybody wants to carry around a gigantic knife like this and that's where you might want to spend the extra 30 dollars for a delica iv. Again, no complaints there, like i said, very thin, very lightweight, very comfortable in the hand and really good steel, but man for 80 dollars.  This is spyderco's version of a drop point. This is a satin finish. Oh so sexy satin, finish plain blade right, no serrations on the bottom. I just find it easier to sharpen a plain blade than a serrated edge, full flat grind on this one
