[Music] Okay, so we have the Bellroy Venture Sling here in Ranger Green, which I think looks really, really nice and happy that they've included this in the lineup for the Venture Sling. All right, So there's a lot to cover here. As you can see, the sling is like a bit of a unit in terms of its size

 Really nice to grab on tune satisfying. It's kind of got this, not like a frame sheet, but some kind of material on the inside that that makes it a little a little bit more rigid now. Ykk. Aqua guard zippers throughout, just going to help keep away that extra moisture

 It's got a more heritage feel to it, a little more professional, a little more refined which is typical with Bellroy products, which I dig. The hardware here is some kind of aluminum and I just think again, that adds to that professional look and feel which is nice. And then this is the first time I've ever seen buckles like this, but these ones are from Duraflex. Um, it actually took me a while to even figure out that these were buckles, but you can see little Duraflex logo on the back there

 a little heat shrink at the end here. I think that's a nice improvement. Really nice to grab on tune satisfying. It's kind of got this, not like a frame sheet, but some kind of material on the inside that that makes it a little a little bit more rigid now

Bellroy Venture Sling 9L Review (2 Weeks of Use)

 The first thing that you're likely to notice about the Light slings that it doesn't look very much like a Bellroy bag at all, at least when taking into account the brand's usual aesthetic. Sure, it shares a lot in common with the standard Bellroy Sling, but the Light's updated materials, hardware and color schemes mean that it looks like a very different beast. For one, the ripstop fabric construction is very sharp, particularly in the case of our Shadow Colorway made from 100 recycled pet plastic bottles. It comes with a subtle diamond pattern that changes the bag's appearance depending on the light

 Granted, it's not groundbreaking or revolutionary by any means, but it demonstrates that the Australia-based outfit can do the technical look and do it well. Apart from some minor nitpicks here and there with things like the gusseting system and the back padding, we thoroughly enjoyed our time during testing. If Belroy's other offerings are a bit too tame for your tastes, give this option from the Light Series a look. It could very well be the sling you're searching for

 We haven't seen too many of these on slings, but it's a valuable add-on to consider if you spend any of your commute on two wheels. Bellroy tends to play things pretty safe, so the Light Sling makes for a marked departure from the brand's usual aesthetic. Granted, it's not groundbreaking or revolutionary by any means, but it demonstrates that the Australia-based outfit can do the technical look and do it well. Apart from some minor nitpicks here and there with things like the gusseting system and the back padding, we thoroughly enjoyed our time during testing

 We especially like this ability for travel, as it allows you to bring along a secondary bag for shorter excursions. Closure-wise the Light Sling gets an upgrade, at least in the case of the main pocket, along with providing some helpful water resistance courtesy of a Ykk Aquaguard zipper. It now opens from both directions. Small touches, sure, but they add to the bag's premium look and feel

Main concern is its one shoulder, crossbody on the back “slingable’ness”? How padded are the side arms that are supposed to wrap around your waist. And also, how evenly distributed is the weight when slung diagonally. Does stuff sorta gather to one side?

The TB forums seem to like it although could be a little group think over there, too. But one person did mention how it didn’t quite sit flush against their back when in crossbody back mode.

Tom Bihn Le Grand Derrière as Sling?

 This glasses pocket here is out of the crushed zone i think as Bellroy calls it. so it's got a nice kind of felt feeling pocket on the inside here. You've got some stretchiness to it too, so it can bow out a little bit if it needs to. And then there's this very soft kind of material look looking stuff up here at the top, so that feels really nice in the hand

 Let me see if I can get it to focus. There you go. So one of the things that I want to talk about here, and I've just got this small Fischer Space Pen here too, the Bullet Space Pen. But as you can see, that bullet space bend fits very nicely inside of here and it's towards the back

 But I do like that little detail. the zipper stops. I'm sure with Bellroy's designers, I'm sure that was intentional, but maybe it was a happy accident and we just we just found it now. Um, cool

 You've got some stretchiness to it too, so it can bow out a little bit if it needs to. And then there's this very soft kind of material look looking stuff up here at the top, so that feels really nice in the hand. Of course Bellroy's little quote they put on most of their bags if you want to pause it and read, I'll give it there to you. All right? And then we have this back portion
