 I don't know that would maybe be annoying, but we'll see we'll see We'll try it at some different volumes and and see even my headphones aren't that fantastic. All right, let's get it hooked up Okay Well, as you can see it doesn't necessarily look super pretty right now I don't have anything hidden but there's the Behringer all set to go the the phono preamp and this is my headphone amp That I got it's SMS L s a P to or SAP II or something like that I think it's the SAP to I think it's gonna be pretty good. Apparently it can really really put out the volume So let's turn on Turn on the unit and my headphones, I think I mentioned there right now. They're pretty Pretty marginal at best

 As you can see over there in the back I'm using both the RCA inputs and outputs as well as the power of course with the ground. And in case you're curious about my setup I'm using Technics SL1200MK2 turntable that is plugged in directly into the preamp and the preamp output is going straight into my powered speakers, they are Logitech speakers. And as a final review, like I said before I already finished spinning a few records and I am very very happy with the results. The sound quality is very good, I can compare it with an older preamp that I had before and the sound quality is slightly better and also the power of the volume is also a little bit higher, it's a little bit louder which is a good thing in my opinion

 Let's go ahead and try it out. Ok so I just finished setting up my preamp with my turntable.  This is an unboxing and review of the Behringer MicroPhono Preamp and the part number is PP400. I just got this from Amazon for about $25 and my intention is to use it with Technics turntable. Just going through the box, of course this converts your phono signal into a line level and it comes with two types of output, with the RCA and you also get the ¼ inch TRS connector as it says here in the box, ¼ inch TRS output connector. It should also come with the adapter and it should have a rugged construction

UPDATE: I've placed an order for Rega Planar 1, Behringer PP400, and Edifier R1280t as my first TT setup.

Managed to sneak some more budget for my first TT, and drawn towards the Rega P1 or the Pro-ject Debut Carbon DC. 

Are the Edifier R1280t speakers going to be ‘good enough’ to team up with either of the TTs mentioned above? I was originally looking at the ATLP60x with the same speakers as an entry level bundle…

Or should I flip the budget and buy the AT and some better speakers?

Is it ‘wrong’ to pair TT like the Rega P1 or Pro-ject Debut Carbon DC with Edifier R1280t speakers from Amazon?

 In my unit, the gain matching differential between channels never exceeded 0.2dB. Frequency response was approximately +0.5dB at 10kHz

I can not get over how good this preamplfier sounds and for only twenty bucks. Music is clear and well defined, seemingly limited only by the phonograph record, record player and cartridge.  This unit is very compact, well constructed and easily fits in with the record player and amplifier. Power is supplied by a wall wart

 But, not in this case of cheap (price tag-wise) preamp from Behringer. Hey! You can always return it if it didn't fit your hearing/listening pleasure - but it sufficed mine! Some may go against me on this (I don't care) I am just voicing myself here and hoping to help others decide a little bit more easier on their search for phono preamp.

Small but terrible (Terribly Good I mean) It doesn't take an audiophile to say or know if this really works! It just works as advertised. No ART, No DJ "Bull" or what they call their product as " preamp for phono" or with RIAA standards matches this small Behringer phono preamp. Connect it and plug it (don't forget to ground it tho) and your on your way to listen to your record collection. I returned the almost double price tag ART DJ PRE and got this one (so far my comparable) and this "more than doubles the quality of producing sound off of my vinyls" - Ok, 5x better! I have connected this to my RX-V671 and records sounded great! Sound stage - depends on your setup (IMHO) you may have to "definitely" crank some of that volume up to compare with older receivers with built-in PHONO IN (in my case when compared to my 25 y/o Sherwood stereo surround receiver) Well, imagine the circuitry (ICs and whatnot) older receivers have in their arsenal for preamp (PHONO IN) I mean it was their era for playing records, right? Too bad our "new" era of digital this and that gave us lesser option and left us to spend some more in order to hear them vinyls fill the air of "analog bliss"

 Connect it and plug it (don't forget to ground it tho) and your on your way to listen to your record collection.  For a lot of you DJs out there that want to take stuff off of your vinyl and be able to record it to a different system, an audio system, or transform the levels, or if you are a person at home that has a turntable and you have a collection of records that you want to transfer into your computer and put them into iTunes and make them digital. This is great for that. So the connections on the PP400 are really straightforward. You have the 12 volts in, you have the RCA input so that you can connect your turntable or phono to it, and then you have RCA outputs if you want to take those somewhere else, and you have a TRS jack as well

MICROPHONO PP400 Ultra-Compact Phono Preamp

First of all, I'm not an Hi-Fi addict, just a standard home user. Why I use this preamp is to connect my old Elac phono from 70's to my new big screen LG LED TV to have fun with my old record collection. The preamp does what it says perfectly in a very acceptable price. There is no noise (again I'm not an Hi-Fi addict, the noise is not audible for my ears) even without the ground connection, never needed to connect the ground connection

 You know, this is a bare bones preamp, there's not much to it. It's really just, it's quite versatile in the options, but it's kind of like a set it and forget it type thing, you won't really be messing with many of these settings. And it just sounds great, it's solid, you know, you can see it's got like a little texture to the paint, and it's like this gun red, it's almost like automotive paint or something, it's really smooth. And then comparing it to shit audio, low key, you can see the size difference right here

 Yeah, it's a good preamp, I really like it. Unfortunately, I can't really justify the $150 price tag because it sounds very identical to the Pioneer phono preamp, but like I said, that's actually a good thing because these preamplifiers are really, really, really good. You definitely want to look into the Bellari if you have a poor preamp, it definitely brings a lot more out of the vinyl, so yeah, if you have any specific questions, I didn't see many videos about this preamp, so if you have anything, just let me know, and yeah, thank you for watching.

 Comparing it to my Pioneer VSX 5900S, it's a great amplifier from the 90s, and there's not much of a difference, which is a good thing, because back then, people actually, you know, manufacturers really cared about vinyl playback, and they put good preamplifiers in their amps. So the Bellari definitely is on par with an amplifier like that. So if you have an old receiver that, you know, you don't like the phono stage, or if you have a really new receiver that sounds like crap on the phono stage, the Bellari will definitely do the trick. I can really attest to it sounding pretty similar to the one in the high end Pioneer amplifier from the 90s

Bellari VP549 Phono Preamplifier Review (Rolls) -Adam HiFi-

 My biggest concern was that vinyl would sound like my CD player. it doesn't, it's smooth, silky, musical and enjoyable. I'm very pleased.

First off I couldn't justify spending as much or more for a phono preamp as I had on my 1960's Harman Kardon A300 integrated tube amp. I set a price for a phono stage at under 200.00 and actually found this Bellari VP549 on an Amazon open box for only 109.00

 Instruments that were hard to make out in the mix are now distinct and positioned on the sound stage. Music actually comes to life with this little unit and I've had no problem with grounding hum, I can just faintly hear that it's on until the record starts to play.
