I waited a month and a half before writing this review as I wanted to see if any change would happen on my skin. I have rosacea sensitive skin and was interested by the ingredients which claimed would sooth redness on skin. However, I found the product to be extremely sticky and would not absorb well into my skin. While I didn't break out more, I did notice certain areas of my skin, such as my cheeks, appeared more red which was disappointing

While this felt soothing and hydrating, it wasn't as "calming" as I had expected based on its claim. The packaging also made it challenging to get the last drops from the bottle. I've tried other serums containing green tea or panthenol that seemed to offer more efficacy, but this is definitely gentle for those with super sensitive skin.

This serum has a beautiful texture - very lightweight and yet very hydrating. Most important of all, it's super calming and soothing. It soothes any redness on my skin right away. When I am about to have any irritation or struggling with hormonal acne, I use this serum, and it reduces the redness quite a bit

This serum is great. It is easy to apply and has a nice finish that allows for moisturizer to glide on smooth. It feels pretty sticky during first application, but finishes in a nice dewy look.

(2) One Thing Artemisia Capillaris Extract: Game changer! I really do think this one is better than the Missha one because (a) the price point is brilliant, (b) this has a cooling sensation and it actually feels quite hydrating! I live in South East Asia, where the climate is hot and super humid like 95% of the time. My skin-type would probably be oily-to-combination, most oily in the t-zone and slightly acne-prone.

 I used it as a toner just FYI, because I wasn't using toners when I purchased this essence. I also don't have any redness in general, so maybe that's why there wasn't much of an effect. It's also not exactly hydrating with one layer alone. But you can layer this for better hydration

 Purge. Friends, don't be like me. Do NOT slather on 2-3 full squirts of this product 3x in 24 hours the first time you use this. 2-3 drops, not dropperfuls, is enough and start slow! Build up to twice daily applications over a few days or a week

 as I write this, so I'm a little more than 48 hours into the journey to amazing skin. Nowhere did I see directions re: the amount of product* to apply, so I (naively?) slathered on 2-3 dropperfuls on my clean face, neck, and décolletage Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening ..

Beware the Purge

Not sure if this is important, but I always hand-pluck every single peach fuzz/tiny black hair from my upper lip and the sides/top of my nose (not nostrils), because they bother me. I don’t shave/dermaplane but I use sometimes use a string epilator. Ofc I wash tweezers/epilator before use. 

How do you clear up your nose 👃🏼 and the corners/edges of your nose? The edges/sides of my nose that meets the rest of my face is always red, maybe kind of inflamed. I have dehydrated, dry skin. 

Please lmk what works for you (even the grits method - if it works consistently for anyone I will start doing it every day or however often you recommend). I just want to be blackhead/redness free and I will try **anything**.
