I had brewed it with my Encore last year and it was pretty decent at best, but I purchased a Lido ET back in August of last year and I can definitely say it has way more clarity now!. I'm using a 1:18 ratio and it genuinely tastes like jasmine and melon juice! Recently, I've departed from the 1:15 - 1:16 ratios I had always used and it really accentuates the flavor profile.

If you don’t need a grinder for travel, I would highly recommend “buy once , cry once” on a good electric. You are looking at close to $200 US for the grinder and single dose hopper (not necessary, but I love having it, it also quiets the action).

Manual grinders are your best bang for your buck: lido ET or 1zpresso jx pro or even a Kinu Simplicity.

We've had to work through a few challenges to get the grinder to work in a practical way for us, but overall it's been ok. I don't taste a noticeable difference in flavor between freshly ground and the bags we would pre-grind at Costco. Things to consider: *Every time you grind beans, you will have grinds that go everywhere- as you pour them into your coffee maker and as you put the bin back in place. It's extremely messy

It makes life easier for you, it works well, and makes the entire process so much more enjoyable. With an AP compared to a lot of other brew methods you end up with something a lot finer, which isn't the normal range for a blade grinder. It's definitely going to improve the quality of life and cup for you.

The grind is even and the use of the grinder is effortless. The grind time has been cut by minutes to about 30 seconds on setting 8 from Zero. Currently using a Hario V60 filter. Still making fine adjustments to the grinder and finding the flavour smooth with virtually no bitterness
