In fact, I'm so happy with the quality of the sound (which blows away my next nicest pair) that I'm already looking forward to finding something new. My setup is simple: Schiit Stack (Magni 3+ & Modi). I currently own: Audio Technica M50x (my first baby), Sennheiser HD 6XX, and the DT 1990s.

When positioned on my head, I almost felt like my ear was touching the inner plastic, rather than having the cups bracing them in a good listening position. Even if I did not have the Sennheisers in hand, I would have felt this was mediocre build quality -- but in contrast with the Sennheiser it is night and day. As a company, if you're going to manufacture a "super light" set of quality headphones, you should expect that editors, musicians, producers or audiophiles would travel with them. And without a case or 1.5m cable, I would NOT trust the durability of these nor would I want to fumble around, with a 3 meter cable, during travel. If the rest of the industry is anything to take note from, the addition of a shorter cable or case would not have cost much extra, especially since AT saved so much on manufacturing and materials

I used these things mercilessly for 15 years, gaming and even sleeping with them on. They still work like new. You cannot go wrong with Sennheiser HD6xx or 58x series cans.
