These are a very bass boosted pair of headphones that sound good enough to replace my IEM’s when on the go. They get uncomfortable after an hour though, so these are only recommended to wear on short bursts.

When I went to Sydney for uni I found a few audiophile shops here and decided to visit them. The Dunu sa6 was from Addicted to Audio in Newtown and the fit was amazing for my ears and the sound quality really wowed me so I bought one. I also went to Minidisc in chatswood and they had a sale for the Audio Technica r70x and tried it, paired with the ifi hip dac I got wowed again (especially with the xbass button it's so fun to use) and bought one.

The main reason the rating here is 3 and not higher is because of the price point. These headphones are the Audio Technica ATH-R70X paired with a JDS Labs Atom DAC/Amp stack. They are amazingly comfortable with their very light weight (210 grams) distributed across improved 3D wing headband pads.

When I first ordered these headphones, they arrived with the left headphone not working at all & I returned to Amazon and they shipped a working one. 2 months later, the right headphone just comes off (never dropped or mishandled).
