I'd just like to say my Lenovo Flex 4 that I received ...

This laptop is perfect for anyone who needs a really decent rig that has mobile capabilities. I am an Indie Game Developer and will be getting this model for all my entire Art Team. It is a fantastic product, backed by great customer service.

Performance

Verdict – The Core i3 is the better choice for everyday tasks

There are also noticeable advantages in terms of the emissions, and especially the fan is much quieter with a slower maximum speed. This means the i3 MacBook Air is quieter for longer periods of time, even when you stress it.The MacBook Air with the dual-core i3 processor is the better device for basic workloads. The subjective performance impression is very good in these scenarios, the fan is quieter, and you can still enjoy the good display as well as the improved keyboard

* 5400rpm spinning drive (WD Blue) is too slow. It needs to be a hybrid, a SSD, or 7200rpm. * Screen is really shiny. With the laptop off, I could use it as a low-quality mirror

Durability

Buyers should find out in advance whether the software they use could run into trouble or whether there are alternatives. However, any limitations in the app selection from this are balanced by the numerous newly added iOS apps that will run perfectly thanks to the ARM chip. The new Apple chips celebrate a successful debut in the MacBook Air. With maturing software, probably no one will miss the Intel chips in the Mac in the future

Great machine with some stupid problems.

The corners of the machine are chipping off. That was not such a big deal until the case around the USB and power supply ports broke off. So, I have put black duct tape on the bottom of my machine (or course, not over the vents) to make it a little more hardy.

Touchpad

RELEASED TOO SOON

I didn't know enough to immerse myself in the (hard-to-find) Essentials Manual before touching the FORCE touchpad. Took a long time that to realize that "force" really meant FORCE (as in "smash it down" ) There is a System Preferences bypass, but I got embroiled in a DARK MODE display (black screen), missing cursor, and of course loss of Intel-chip based favorite apps which all took precedence over trying to find and read a possible Manual. Help menu did not help.

Major Buyers Remorse

The touchpad is also a little problematic (not just a Lenovo issue) with the continuous design not having a "by feel" sense of where the button clicking will work and not work. Many a right menu list has come up. Very frustrated. But to be fair I haven't really tried the tablet part out yet

But at the same time, it also added the much-maligned butterfly keyboard and kicked the price up. I always felt that was a mistake -- $999 is an important psychological and financial barrier, especially for students, writers and anyone who needs maximum reliability and usability on a budget. Others have used mine and same issue. Maybe if that was the only keyboard I had and I never typed and a standard k/b it would be easy to get used to.NOT the case here. Otherwise no problems, issues or concerns
