.easy to set up , roomy, many pockets. chair mode is great for lounging. laying flat is a boon to my back

 fun hammock during the day and gets lots of attention.. but the balancing act loses stars for me as a sleep system.

0 out on multiple nights I'd have to say I'm very impressed with the construction and the comfort. I'm an avid hammock camper and this by far fits into my lot of hammocks and deserving of a spot in my gear closet.

 Everything I could think of was included (only the poles to push out the head/foot area are not). [URL REMOVED] threw everything in a 25 liter pack along with a Hammock Gear Econ 30 top quilt and went to read the paper down by the brook. It made for a very pleasant afternoon! You definitely need to practice getting in and out of it, it can be comical if you don't have your technique down. It does take up a bit of room and weight in your pack, if your considering one for multiple days on the trail I would splurge for the ultralight

 This is a war bonnet Blackbird xlc is single-layer yeah, one point seven. I think - and this is an aftermarket stuff sack for it, because I actually lost the regular one day game with so I just have it in this Dyneema. One but yeah this is the first hammock we ever got with the suspension like the the tree, huggers that it comes with, and it's got Whoopie slings on it. You'Re coming in about 27 ounces, roughly about 200 bucks

 There'S not going to be an advantage or disadvantage to a manufacturer, they all know they're all really good. They all support their products really well and have great customer service prices are around the same. You know so you can't go wrong with with either of them, but hopefully this video helps. You get a lot of questions about a lot of question

 Last year we shot a video that, from a high level, just kind of compared a bunch of different under quilts and that videos seem to be received very well. You know it wasn't in depth, reviews on all of them, necessarily so we're gon na do the same thing today with a bunch of different hammocks from your favorite manufacturers. I like my Dutchware chameleon as the bugnet is asymmetrical to give a flatter lay and also fully removable. Not to mention that it's 11' long which, in my opinion, ups the comfort greatly. Also you should look at a hammock with a structural ridgeline or look at adding one to the hammocks that you already own. I’m working on a switch to hammock camping - my spouse and I are finding it harder to sleep in the tent/on the ground as we age and we’ve tried so many pad configurations!

Anyway, we have a couple of hummingbird hammocks (I have the single and he has the single plus) that we take for fun on hikes and I was thinking of using these as a base for a sleep system. Do folks have recommendation on a bug net? I was thinking the ENO Guardian SL but it’s only 9 ft long and the hummingbird single plus is almost 10 ft. Given that the hammock will have some sag in the middle when hung, is the guardian still too short? Is there a better option for an add on netting?

If it’s in your price range, we are very happy with our Dutchware chameleon hammocks, and love hanging two next to each other with the Double Dutch Bugnet. But value for money, I don’t think you can beat the complete kit from Hammock Gear - The Wanderlust. The quilt (sleeping bag will do) and underquilt is the expensive part, but an underquilt is so nice.

So I’m new to hammocks. I just bought one for my birthday. I’ve never actually gone camping outdoors (although I’ve always been interested, just didn’t get the opportunity), but I’m interested in trying it as an overnight option in my backyard to see if it’s easier on my back, and I’d like to be able to take it on day trips with friends and maybe eventually an overnight trip. Based on what I’ve read and experienced so far, I think I would benefit from the following. 

1. A double hammock for overnight sleeping space
2. An included bug net
3. A preset ridge line so that I get a reasonably good hang in most situations. 
4. Possibly an included rain fly. Not as big of a deal, although the only place I can hang currently is beneath a pecan tree that keeps threatening to conk me in the head XD

I kind of fell in love with the kammok mantis based on one of the first videos I watched, but I’d like to spend a whole lot less.
